Spectacular - Edit
Every part of the experience was amazing—the restaurant’s location and ambiance, the service, and, of course, the food. We ordered the Oshi vegan salmon filet (one as an entrée and another on a salad), and both were fantastic. The French onion soup was among the best we’ve ever had—an opinion shared by both the vegans and non-vegans in our group. We also tried the steak and potatoes and a chick’n sandwich, and every plate was cleaned. Highly recommend.

Small spot, great vibes - Edit
After loving element gastropub, I went by this place when visiting Raleigh next. Cute little spot, surprisingly empty at dinner time. Food was very good.

Excellent food! Excellent service! - Edit
5 stars for Marian! My girlfriend and I came here for dinner and were so impressed by all the options (she is vegan, I am DF and pescatarian). We shared both the elote ribs and the hot hunee chik’n (pictures below). They were both absolutely delicious! We were so happy with our meal and the service was the cherry on top. Our waiter was very friendly. This is THE spot if you’re looking for a fabulous dinner.

Nice vibe with great food - Edit
Low key Sunday evening with relaxing music, helpful and friendly staff helped me enjoy the tasty BBQ brisket sandwich even more (ordered the coleslaw, which was pretty good). As another person noted, the portion wasn’t big but for me it was enough. I didn’t try any cocktails but the wide selection of these and local beers is impressive.

More like Mari-yum, amirite!? 🙌 - Edit
I’d read about Marian for a while, but I didn’t get to visit until last night. I was very impressed with the mod atmosphere upon arrival and the menu offered so much to choose from. A lot of times, you can run the risk of getting a run-of-the-mill PB meat substitute sandwich, but they really added some fun bonuses for those of us who like an upscale twist without an upscale price (such as their caviar service). They had a great selection of entrees, but both my partner and I were in the mood for handhelds—the offbeast steak Caesar wrap was delicious, but his hot honey chicken sandwich (unfortunately not pictured) was definitely the best thing we ordered. Oh darn… looks like I’ll just have to go back soon to try more and report back.

Checked out brunch and highly recommend the chicken and waffles. The cornflake crust and pimento cheese are a great combo. The French toast was also very good though the bread was chewier than my personal preference. We also had an espresso martini which was very well made.
Read moreUpdate Aug 2025: Went for dinner and the food was mid. I do feel bad that I didn’t say anything to the staff about it while there but I’m tired y’all, it’s easier to just say “good/okay” and move on. Besides, I was very hungry so I still ate the food. 🤷🏻♀️ The bloomin onion batter was not cooked all the way through. The off-beast is just not an impressive product, nor the impossible chicken. I much prefer the housemade chicken used at Element (at least the last time I went there). The only thing I’d really recommend were the fries which is kind of insane at these prices. Dessert took > 20 minutes and the place was p much empty so that was a bit unexpected.

Good food small portions - Edit
Got the breakfast burrito friend got the honey chicken sandwich with side of chocolate pastry. Everything was good, very flavorful, but portions were small. Normally would probably be fine but I had a heavy workout before going so it wasn’t quite enough food for me.
Read moreWent back for dinner. Brisket sandwich is on point, I enjoyed the side salad also with the Caesar dressing. The side of kettle chips was tiny as was the side of chickpea salad.

Delicious food - Edit
I’ve been to this restaurant a handful of times already and each time has been awesome. The menu has changed since they first opened, but they had some delicious tacos (and several other items) that are unfortunately no longer available.
Read moreI love these items that are still available (as of June 2025) — Ensalada de esquites, Filipino cigars, southwest flatbread pinsa (soo good 😋), Mediterranean omelet, Benedict.
Staff are amazing, ambiance is great, nice outdoor seating, and they make a great old fashioned. Will go back as any times as I can!
Pros: Great food, Nice ambiance, Great service
Cons: Sad they got rid of some delicious food options.

Perfect location! - Edit
My daughter and I had a wonderful meal there. I’m SOS-free and gluten-free. My daughter eats anything. Chef came to the table to discuss some options he could make me and we chose the Niçoise salad. My daughter did small plates. They even had a non-alcoholic Merlot for me! Overall fabulous.

Brunch - Edit
The food was delicious. We had the chicken and waffles and the French toast. Pimento cheese on the waffles is a good touch. The French toast was much smaller than expected for the price. I was still hungry when I left.

Delicious Brunch - Edit
Came here with my family with 2 kiddos for brunch. It says closed on this app., but they open 10am-10pm on Sunday’s. I ordered the Mediterranean Omelette (Mexican style off menu ), it was soooooo good! My kids had chickun & waffles with a fruit cup, they loved it. We also had the bread basket, which is a mixture of pastries to tie the kids over until the main meal. The brunch cocktails hit the spot as well. We will definitely be back to try the other options. Such a cool place and nice vibe.

Fabulous restaurant with great food and amazing staff. We were visiting from out of town and one of the owners took the time to talk through the menu and give us some suggestions. The bruschetta and the vegan meatball were both incredible. #Veganuary

My wife and I went on opening night and brought my mom who is not vegan. We had a little bit of everything:
Read morePicked cauliflower
Pickles
Rosemary Nuts
Bread service
Filipino Cigars
Bruschetta
Papas H
Petite Pastor
Tofu noodles? (I don't remember the name)
Panna Cotta
Chocolate Mouse
Bananas Foster
Everything was delicious. This was the first time my mom had been to a vegan restaurant that wasn't just impossible burgers or chick'n sandwiches and she couldn't stop talking about how good everything was.
We expected some pain points in the service with it being the first night but everything was perfect.
Can't recommend this place enough!
Pros: Food was delicious , Service was great, Atmosphere was nice
