Fantastic selection - Edit
Their selection is great, about half the menu is vegan and they use special, super stringy cheese for the pizza (carnevale's), which I loved!

My husband and I visited Margharitas today, and had simply the best Italian food I've eaten. I'm vegan, and first of all the options were brilliant with vegan starters, pasta, risotto, pizza and various breads available. I had the pumpkin and sage tortellini with the garlic pizza bread with vegan cheese and it was just superb. I'm only visiting Deal, which is a shame, as I think I'd visit weekly if I lived here. Brilliant!

Loved this little Italian restaurant in Deal. I had the butternut squash and sage tortellini and it was lovely. The menu has a great selection of tasty sounding vegan pasta and pizza dishes, I had a tough time choosing because several things whetted my appetite. Friendly and attentive staff, nice atmosphere, great food. Would recommend booking to be on the safe side as it is quite small. Some vegetarian and gluten free options too.

Really enjoyed the vegan pizza here. The garlic vegan cheese focaccia was also great and so was the vegan brownie. Really good food and nice service

Avoid ordering on Deliveroo - Edit
As there was an offer for free delivery on Deliveroo, we decided to order through them instead of on Margheritas website. The description on Deliveroo said that their Giardinera would have vegan cheese and so we ordered three. When I ate mine I could immediately tell that it dairy and phoned the restaurant for confirmation and to resend my pizza as a vegan one. Unfortunately my parents had already eaten most of theirs by then and were really upset and we are now in the process of getting theirs refunded. Once the new pizza arrived I enjoyed it but I'll be too worried to order from them again.

I loved this place. So many options for Vegans and the Pizza was definitely in my top 3 globally. The staff were attentive, professional and friendly and the vibe was great. I was so impressed with all aspects of their food and service as well as little details they didn't fail to overlook.

Lovely, friendly owners who made offered to make our pizza on the day they are closed! Yummy vegan pizzas, with really fresh toppings. Plus vegan sorbets and cakes! Will definitely be back next time we are in Deal. Vegan options include 4 pizzas, pastas, risotto, desserts. Recommend getting a pizza to take away and sitting on the beach!

So nice to visit a restaurant with more than 1 vegan option - there are 5 vegan pizza's on the menu here. Lovely welcome and staff very knowledgeable when asked about vegan options. I had the spicy vegan haggis pizza which was delicious. Plant based milks available. Perfect place to dine for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike 👍
