Excellent service ONE option only - Edit
Went there even after reading the last review but due to hunger and non vegan people. Went there and asked for vegan food and they had one item on the menu. However the overall service of the restaurant was great! Very friendly staff and food was good too!

Booked 3 weeks in advance based on the reviews here and the website saying they have vegan options. Made sure to put in the notes booking was for 2 x vegans. Missed a call from a mobile number 3hrs before our booking which turns out was them ringing to say they no longer have any vegan options on the new menu. When we arrived still unknowing they said they could do us tomato pasta with no cheese. Absolute joke. So because we didn’t want a dinner that sounded like something a fussy child would be given we ended up with chips on a bench since everywhere else was booked. Any chef worth their salt can make up a vegan option but clearly they are incapable and not interested

Sea and harbour front eating - Edit
Clean, spacious and contemporary feel right on the sea front in Ballycastle. Tasty, fresh food. Broad and varied menu including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options, just not enough choice on vegan options. Friendly and competent serving staff too.

The team fitted us in despite not booking, service was quick and friendly. Couple of vegan options. I chose the satay, very good.

It was nice to have clearly marked vegan options in an area that doesn‘t offer much for vegans. We had the only vegan starter, cauliflower wings, they were okay. We then had the two vegan mains. The burrito was okay, but average. The sweet potato & chickpea satay was great and made it totally worth the visit. We didn‘t have desert, but they would have offered sorbet oder berry paklova.
