Maran Vegan

Very nice store with lots of offerings- especially 'raw' and vegan. I enjoyed browsing around Has a small restaurant area. Reminds me of my co-op at home with the enticing smells. VERY friendly and helpful staff. I was able to find my favorite raw cold-press juice. So glad I found this place- I just happened to be walking by- and I returned several times throughout my stay in Vienna. Thank you, Maran!

I found some vegan white chocolate with strawberry pieces - my favorite!

Also, toothpaste, cheap agar-agar and hemp milk on sale. I liked this place!

Wonderful selection of Oatley creams in different flavors, vegan cheeses, and vegan tofu items. It was fun to look around at all of the variety.

This place is so awesome! Massive selection of products, including loads of vegan dog food! I could spend hours in here. Wish we had supermarkets like this all over the world.

I had a large salad plate in the cafe and it was delicious. Very big and lots of options and flavour. I also tried one of the many cakes (the pistachio slice) and it was to die for. Would definitely recommend this place for a healthy and casual lunch with lots of variety.

This vegan supermarket has everything your vegan heart wants, they have a bistro adjacent, so you can get something to eat as well while shopping, and they have a house-own bakery that makes great bread.

Why oh why was this place not open when I lived in Vienna!? A very big selection is available, including many brands that are not readily available in Vitalia or DM stores. It's particularly nice to find so much vegan cat and dog food. The store is spacious and the cafe area is comfortable, and although one of the staff members I spoke to was quite rude, the others were lovely. Prices in the cafe (which has cakes, salads and two or three warm dishes, pus a small bakery), are very reasonable, whilst costs in the shop vary between brands. Whatever your budget though, I'd say it's worth a look as there is such variety.

This is in walking distance from the WestBahnhof railway station and from the Neubaugasse Underground No.3 stop.
There is a small cafe/restaurant with a daily warm dish inside but separate from the shop. Great salads and desserts!
The aisles are much more spacious than in the other vegan market in town, Veganz. Lots of raw food and very fresh veggies and fruit.

First vegan store in Austria. Food, everyday supplies... you should find everything you need. Near Station "Westbahnhof".

Normalerweise muss ja alles genau unter der Lupe genommen werden möchte man vegane Produkte kaufen. Im ersten veganen Supermarkt Österreichs wird einem das abgenommen.

Obst und Gemüse ist alles Bio, im restlichen Sortiment liegt die Quote, laut Auskunft einer Mitarbeiterin, bei 70-80 Prozent deklarierter Bio-Ware.

Eine Reihe an Kühlschränken bietet Tofu-, Soja-, Fleischersatz-Produkte und alles mögliche an.

Ansonsten gibt es natürlich alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs zum Kaufen.

Besonders gut gefiel mir die “Abfüllstation”. Dort können verschiedenste Produkte wie zB. Dinkelkörner, Hirse, Kürbiskerne, Mandeln, Cashewkerne, Gojibeeren, Datteln etc. selbst auf die gewünschte Menge portioniert werden. Sehr praktisch!

Das Geschäft ist in Mariahilferstrasse-Nähe. Am Besten mit den Öffis anreisen.

The fact that this place is vegan and that it actually resembles a grocery store is a huge improvement to all the previous vegan shops I have visited in the past. The selection here is really amazing and it is quite the sight to see a fridge dedicated to faux meat substitutes or vegan cheese. Normally us vegans have to look far and wide to find a tiny vegan selection in some little corner hidden on some shelf.
I also appreciated that they sold nuts and dried fruit in bulks. So you can find all the types of products you would see in a standard healthfood store. The store is tidy with a lot of open spaces between shelves which is very important making it easier to browse through the store. Everyone owes themselves to visit this place and enjoy the amazing options offered. For once you can visit a place and be able to buy anything and not be restricted due to your diet or life style.

Such a great find. This wonderfully bright and clean store and deli has healthy an decadent vegan fare. I had a wonderfully flavorful roll loaded with hummus an fresh veggies. It had a faux Breaded meat as well. Did not have a dessert , but they looked delish . The cherry on top was that it was next to my hostel, so just a short walk away . I only wish it was open on Sundays,
