No Vegan Food

I live locally and was excited to see this new addition to Happy Cow. I have stopped into Mappititta twice to discuss the menu and, hopefully, order a vegan burger. Both times, I was given a menu with no vegan options. The first staffer explained they offered nothing vegan and walked away from me. I reviewed the menu by myself and there were not any options that would easily "convert" to a vegan meal. But, I am a glutton for punishment so I stopped in again a month or so later and spoke to a different staffer. She was much more friendly but also adamant they offer nothing vegan. And she mentioned that the ingredients they get are constantly changing so she could not guarantee a vegan option would be available. She did ask me to tell her what I wanted and the chef would try to make it! Thoughtful of her to offer but, no thanks! The Facebook link provided on the restaurant's Happy Cow page is also incorrect and links to a different business.

Cons: No vegan food!
