One of the most soul-satisfying places on Earth - Edit
I was an apprentice there for 2 months, then did another 3 months at the sister school OAK before committing to residency programs at both. Everything I learned there was for the purpose of engaging with the real, present experience—with other people, myself, the world--with expanded capacity for courage, clarity and care. It was essential for learning that this is a community of people who truly value compassion, personal growth and trustworthiness, who are truly committed to living ethically with integrity. The teaching wasn’t only in words and ideas, but in their actions, ways of being with each other, with challenges they face in the world around them and at large.

Pros: Community of high integrity, Food included in all programs, Quality wholesome meals cooked with love
