I only had the cheesecake but the rest of the family all ordered different things and they all said it was superb. (As was the cheesecake). Some of the nicest vegan food they’d had in Spain. My only complaint is there’s a minimum charge of 12 euros pp. I wasn’t hungry so only wanted the cheesecake. There were five of us and the bill came to a lot more than 12e pp but still I had to order something else to make my personal bill up to the 12e which was a bit daft and annoying. But listen it’s great food and we’ll worth a visit.

We are glad that you enjoyed. Regarding the minimum order, we refer to the total order. If you are 5 people, €60 between all of you is fine. We do this to avoid occupying a table with 4 people and only asking for a portion to share. We are a restaurant, not a bar. We cannot allow that kind of thing since our hours open to the public are much smaller than a bar and it would not be profitable. The food is absolutely delicious! The service is relatively quick and the staff also friendly. We had the burrata and baos for starter, both amazing! The main was from was a daily option and I forget exactly what it was, but it was equally delicious. Finally, we had the cheesecake for dessert. It came in a cup and I wasn't too impressed with it.

Every dish I tasted was flavourful and wholesome, really filling and just feeling like treating my body with exactly what it needed. It is recommended to book in advance for dinner. It's a little expensive though.

Mapa Verde es uno de los mejores restaurantes en los que hemos tenido el placer de cenar hasta ahora. El entrante, el plato principal y el postre estaban deliciosos y sorprendían tanto por su textura como por su sabor. Los platos son creativos con múltiples ingredientes, el resultado es sorprendente y realmente delicioso. Una mención para el queso casero y el tiramisú y la originalidad de la preparación de la berenjena al grill.

Mapa Verde is one of the best restaurants we've had the pleasure of dining at so far. The appetizer, main course and dessert were delicious and surprising in both texture and taste. The dishes are creative with multiple ingredients, the result is amazing and truly delicious. A mention for the homemade cheese and tiramisu and the originality of the eggplant preparation (Berenjena al grill).
The waitresses were very nice, the setting rustic and warm. A real pleasure. We will certainly return.
Mapa Verde est un des meilleurs restaurants où nous ayons eu le plaisir de dîner jusqu'ici. L'entrée, le plat principal et le dessert étaient délicieux et surprenants tant par la texture que par le goût. Les plats sont créatifs avec de multiples ingrédients, le résultat est étonnant et vraiment délicieux. Une mention pour les fromages et le tiramisu faits maison et l'originalité de la préparation de l'aubergine (Berenjena al grill).
Le service était très bien, le cadre rustique et chaleureux. Un vrai plaisir. Nous y retournerons certainement.

We arrived for lunch without a reservation but we did get a seat. It’s a really nice looking restaurant and the tables are well spaced. I ordered a felafel buddha bowl. It contained felafel, carrot and zucchini noodles, guacamole and spicy baked cauliflower. It was a good sized serving and some of the nicest felafel I’ve had. The bowl might not sound too exciting but I can’t put into words how good it was. For desert I ordered the landare style tiramisu. I had to stop myself eating the glass. It was just so good. Te ofrecimos la posibilidad de comer un postre sentada en una mesa para que no te fueras con el estómago vacío y no quisiste. El precio mínimo es de 11€ por persona en horario de comidas y cenas, ya que hay quien vienen 4, ocupan una mesa grande y sólo come uno, y eso para un restaurante es inviable. No hay pedido mínimo en comida para llevar ni mucho menos si te ofrecemos sentarte a tomar un postre o un café una vez de ha cerrado la cocina y hay mesas libres, ya que no va a entrar nadie más para comer. Nuestra carta va desde los 11€ hasta los 20€. Precios justificados con el tamaño de las raciones y la calidad del producto, además de por la elaboración que conllevan. No es justo que viertas acusaciones falsas por haberte quedado sin cenar (y te enfades por ello) por no haberte molestado en mirar nuestro horario antes. La próxima vez, piensa qué podrías haber hecho tú mejor en lugar de cargar la culpa de tus errores a los demás.

The food, the photos of abandoned animals waiting for their luck and better life, the service… everything was perfect. It was the best vegan place I tried in this region. I wish you stellar future. You deserved it. You make life easier not only to local people but especially to so many tourists who are sometimes not accepted to book a table in fancy restaurants with well thought set menus because they are vegan and gluten-free. That’s why your service is better than in much more famous restaurants in San Sebastián. I hope that in near future Michelin star restaurants will be more flexible with vegans but I know I will always stay loyal to you because you are one of the first ones to understand how to play with vegan and gluten-free food to make it tasteful, interesting and fun.

We enjoyed our dinner and lunch very much at Mapa Verde. The menu is not enormous but all vegan and it has enough choices. We ate a Falafel and Mapa Verde buddha bowl and I loved the tiramisu. We came here twice during our stay in San Sebastian.

El Mapa Verde es el restaurante vegano más veterano de Donostia. La filosofía de sus responsables se basa, sobre todo, en la comida con consciencia, para que prestemos atención a cómo nos alimentamos. Apuestan por productos naturales, de proximidad y en su gran mayoría ecológicos, y elaboran ellas mismas el 100% de los alimentos que ofrecen. El restaurante es un acogedor e invita a comer sin prisa.
