It seems like it is best to book in advance. A friend of mine and I were lucky to get a table because its reservation started in 1,5 hour, which left us with enough time. All the dishes looked so colorful and were flavourful. I can only recommend this place.

I ordered the daily plate or menu, it was really well balanced in terms of spices, and in terms of ingredients, plenty of fresh produce and overall good taste. But the thing that impressed me was their Tiramisu, one of the best vegan ones I’ve had in a while.

The food at Mapa Verde, San Sebastian/Donostia, provides the best vegan food. Being the only vegan in my family, my tribe decided to treat me to a meal at a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. I have to admit, I was very pleasantly surprised by the delicious cuisine. The servings were so large I couldn’t fit in a dessert. I will have to try them next time. The food was delicious, the ambiance delightful, and the staff/service excellent. I would certainly recommend this restaurant. Also, the photographs of the cutest dog adopts made our visit perfect. More restaurants should explore this.

I had the best tiramisu I’ve ever had as the desert. The chickpea bowl with cumin and aioli was also so good. The waitresses were very kind and there is a lovely atmosphere in the cafe. Also with the pictures of dogs available for adoption at the time I was there, was very nice to see.

We turned up without a reservation on a Saturday lunchtime and the friendly staff were able to accommodate us. We had a starter to share, a Buddha bowl each and a dessert each. The food was some of the best we’ve had anywhere!

Hay vida más allá del hummus i las hamburguesas. Me encanto el plato del día. Por 16 euros incluye proteína, crema o sopa, hidratos y ensalada. No inclue ni bebida ni postre. El tiramisú es la receta heredada del restaurante Landare.

Lamentablemente, só fixemos fotos das sobremesas (mouse de galletas e milfollas), porque non só foi unha festa de sabor, senón que a presentación e coidado de cada prato foi fantástica.
Obrigado reservar polo menos o día anterior!!

When I visited Mapa Verde and I saw the menu I couldn't contain my happiness. The menu is full of original delicious dishes. I enjoyed a platter of cheese with fruit and roasted jackfruit. I finished the meal with an amazing cheese cake. I must say you have to be ready to eat, as the portions are quite big. I didn't need it myself 😋 but I think they can put your leftovers on a box for you to take home. The service was helpful and attentive. They speak Basque, Spanish and English.

We went there twice at noon. The food was good, though the falafel and millet could have been cooked a little longer for my taste. However the staff was quite hard to communicate with and very impatient. She insisted on speaking English altough I speak Spanish and then she did not understand anything and I had to explain in Spanish anyways. Also we had a limited time for the table and were very rudely told to leave the table.
