I was in the Hague for 4 days and went to Maoz possibly 5 times... Completely vegan so the perfect place to pick up a bouquet of chips (which I am often craving!); garlic aoili and other delicious sauces to choose from to have with those chips. Also went once for a full meal and had the regular / small wrap - it was still an excellent amount of food. You can add any / all of various toppings, be careful not to overfill (like I did)...! Worth multiple visits :D

Visited maoz again after some time. I discovered them in 1995 or thereabouts and never been let down. so their tagline holds fairly true for me! Always a good and safe choice.

I had a pitta filled with falafel. The salad bar can then be used to add whatever you fancy. I also ordered fries with garlic sauce which were delicious. The problem I found was eating this without a plate proved to be quite messy.

Great option for lunch or snack. You choose falafel, humus or baba ganoush (I think), a pita size and type (whole wheat option) and then you can fill it with as many different veggies, toppings and sauces as fits. For example raw veggies, lettuces, but also pickles, eggplant etc. The sauces include garlic sauce and a nice coriander sauce. The fries are also nice, vegan mayo is available. Sitting it possible but it's also a good take away option

you get the basics you order like a bin and hummus or falafel and then can fill it up yourself with couscous salad, cucumbers, other veggies, pepperoni and sauces

Chips were excellent. Falafels were good and pita was great! Really appreciated being able to pick up my own salads and sauces. I would order a salad bowl next time so I could have more of the fresh salad options. Very affordable. Staff were really nice too.

Read moreI've always loved Maoz falafel and their very extensive saladbar with lots of different veggies and sauces. They're also 100% vegan, which is awesome! They also serve other food than falafel.
It's not a cozy place, but they have plenty of room to dine-in.

We had a Falafel Pita and Pommes with Mayonnaise. Both were absolutly delcious - especially the Pommes with Mayonnaise were properbly the best of my life. The chef is very nice an gave us falafels for free.

Honestly, I have returned about 6 times since they opened 2 months ago. I love that it's so cheap and since there's an open salad bar you can always take different toppings so it never gets boring. The location is awesome, between Centraal and Spui. I recommend eating it there so you can refill your toppings but it's also fine for takeaway.

Edit- I came here yet again to have a vegan dinner and to my disappointment people brought over a beef burger from the restaurant nextdoor and were eating it right next to us. The guy working there didn't say anything and it made me upset and kind of disgusted. Did not want to eat at a vegan place just to watch someone eat carcass.😒Takes off some starts from my experience there.

In our holidays in Den Haag, my girlfriend and I decided to visit this restaurant, and it was the best!
Read moreThe food was very good, they give you the taco with the "meat" that you ordered, and you can fill it with a rack full of salad adds, and in the end salsas/sauces.
We ate mushroom shoarma and me falafel, and the fries, one with garlic sauce and the other with BBQ.
They cut natural potatoes in the restaurant, is a good addition instead of frozen fries, they were very good.
The personal were very friendly and they recommended us very well.
Pros: Good price and good quality food., Some of the best fries I have ever tasted., Fast and yummy.
Cons: Change the olives for one without seeds! :)
