I don't think everything here is vegan - Edit
I had a wonderful meal here last night with my spouse. The server was a very sweet person and reassured me that everything was vegan. I had the couscous plate, half an order of fries with ketchup, and a baklava.
Read moreAfter 30-40 minutes, I experienced a lot of intestinal distress (diarrhea, gas, and abdominal discomfort) for about three hours. I suspect that the baklava had nonvegan butter in it.
I've been avoiding non-vegan restaurants because this has happened to me multiple times at nonvegan places. If I accidentally eat a large amount of dairy (such as a "vegan porridge" made with cow's milk), I'm sick for 48 hours. This was a small piece of baklava, so I feel mostly better now. But my evening was ruined. This really should not happen at a vegan restaurant.
My spouse and I have both been vegan for 13 years. I've developed lactose intolerance, but he hasn't. We ate the same things last night, but he didn't get sick. If you're eating the baklava here thinking it's vegan, you are inadvertently contributing to animal suffering. It really annoys me that a restaurant or its supplier can decide for its customers that vegan values are silly and that everyone, including vegans, should be fed dairy. Someone with a dairy allergy could die because of this. If you're vegan, please don't assume that the "vegan" food you're eating at nonvegan and vegan restaurants is vegan. Many places are sneaking in nonvegan ingredients, and only those of us who are lactose intolerant are aware of it.

Cons: Coca-Cola Company

Good falafel. Not all sauces vegan! - Edit
Falafel sandwich with do it yourself salad bar. Friendly, couple of tables. Be mindful: one of the sauces is not vegan (the orange one, tunisian)

Delicious, convenient, quick, and cheap! - Edit
The falafel hummus pita is great and super customizable with all the salad bar toppings. Great option in the area and I have eaten it 3/3 days I’ve been in Paris so far.

Fresh Falafels - Edit
This restaurant is old and serves delicious falafels fried right in front of you. The hummus is very good too. However, this restaurant is a bit small.

Vegan restaurant with some healthy options - Edit
The neighbourhood is great, the staff is welcoming. Despite the fast food design (bright red and red room), this restaurant has some healthy options. I tried the vegan couscous, the portions are generous and the sultanas adds some sweet flavour to the dish.

Nice staff, but odd toppings - Edit
You have various options for a base of your pita (hoummus, aubergine etc and then some cabbage), starting from 8€ and then you can fill up with toppings by yourself. I really like the concept but the toppings were a bit odd.
Read moreThe staff was super nice, the guy even gave us some hoummus for free and some leftover fries because we were the last customers.

Cheap and super tasty - Edit
unlimited toppings were a huge advantage
Read morethe option with aubergine is a bit too oily tho
and if you order one with both aubergine and falafels then this is going to be a big portion (I wouldn't be able finish it)
person who worked there was very kind💗

Great for fresh, late night food - Edit
I have been to Maoz in London and Amsterdam, but this wasn't quite as good as I remembered. The staff were nice and the falafel was super fresh, cooked to order. They put falafel and lettuce in the pita and then you fill the rest at the salad bar yourself but there's not much room! €8, and an extra €0.50 if you want hummus. Not bad, but felt expensive for what it was when it costs more than a big filled baguette from a bakery.

Quick and delicious at a good price - Edit
Jet lagged, and cold walking around in the chilly rain, the Couscous Bowl was just what I needed for a comforting late dinner. A big warm bowl of chickpeas and veggies in a delicious broth over couscous. Yum! My husband got a felafel (with self serve toppings) and fries. Very good value, and open late. Just a small stand with a few stools and counter.
