Founded in London's Primrose Hill neighbourhood in 1966, Manna is the UK's oldest vegan restaurant in continuous operation and Europe's oldest veggie restaurant. The menus rotate to reflect UK seasons and various cuisines. Also has daily specials, a weekly Sunday roast, and organic cakes from its own bakery. Full liquor license with a large vegan and organic wine list. Bookings recommended by text, phone, or via the website. The restaurant is dog friendly. Open Wed-Thu 18:30-22:00, Fri-Sat 18:30-22:30, Sat-Sun 13:00-16:30, Sun 18:30-21:30. Closed Mon & Tue.

The food was a buffet and was very creative that they focused on ‘egg’ dishes – Egg fried rice, sponges and savoury pancakes BUT without the use of eggs. The owner was also able to give us some insight into alternatives to using eggs in their cooking. Can’t wait to try out their Sunday Lunch -Yorkshire puddings

What’s not to like- the food was incredible, delicious and all made fresh on site. The food is really imaginative and super tasty. They have a great selection of wines and non alcoholic drinks. I love the fact that they try to source locally, organic when possible and whatever they can is made fresh on the premises. They make their own bread and they cater for gluten free beautifully 🙏. Every meal was really nice, good portion sizes and the plant based cheese platter is incredible - they make some of their own cheese and have some made from local cheese makers especially. Deserts were delicious - try the house made rum and raisin ice cream 🍨 - 😋. You can sign up for their mailing list and go to one of their cheese and wine nights. I have been to many vegan places, but they really go that extra mile. They also support animal charities and are doggie friendly. So all in all my new favourite London vegan restaurant 😍

We have been there several times and always enjoy the wonderful vegan food and the warm welcome by the hosts. These people really care about animal welfare and it is reflected in what they do and how they do it. Lovely plant based menu. Must go back and try the vegan roast. I highly recommend Manna.

A little vegan paradise with lovely hosts. Food was lovely. Crumble was delicious (they even put a candle on it cos it was my birthday ☺️). Cheese tasters (vegan Brie and Camembert) were amazing. Wouid definitely visit again when in London. .

Brilliant Vegan Sunday Roast - Edit
My family and I went for my sister’s birthday, and had a Sunday Roast. The staff were so lovely and attentive, and also gave us complimentary soup and bread which was very sweet. The roast was excellent, and their cake perfect for a birthday celebration! Everyone left very happy after a wonderful lunch.

Incredible and Europes oldest vegan restaurant - Edit
Loved eating here today and it’s dog friendly too! We opted for a sharing platter to start and all went in for the epic roast dinner with seitan Wellington. Everything was delicious. The staff were so kind and helpful and gave us a free bowl of rose ice cream and lemon sorbet to try, and we also shared the berry crumble with custard which was out of this world.

Visited Manna on a quiet Sunday afternoon and were greeted by very friendly and welcoming hosts. We were promptly seated and after ordering our roasts, were given a lovely complimentary soup! The roast itself was really tasty, a great variety of vegetables and good portion sizes. It’s a shame this place doesn’t seem to get the attention it deserves!
