There was a spice to it but it was mostly about the flavour.
They were also very kind and accommodating of my child who brought a Greggs vegan sausage roll in to eat with his chips which they made plain for him.
Will definitely be back as there are still more options!

Best Veggie options in Ponty - Edit
Eat here at least once a week. The thali is spectacular value for money. Authentic Indian cuisine nothing like traditional curry houses. Layers or flavours to every dish. Can’t recommend highly enough.

We ordered the Vegan Thali and the Vegan Naanwich, and both were nothing short of spectacular. Every bite was bursting with rich, aromatic spices, and the variety on the Thali made for a wonderfully satisfying meal.

Hidden in Pontypridd market is an authentic Indian street food stall run by a husband and wife duo.
Read moreTheir food is not sanitised and watered down, but it is well spiced, delicious street food the likes of which is rare to find outside of the cities in Wales.
We have become regular customers over the last few months, trying lots of different dishes and always being served promptly and efficiently.
Being open later on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays has also encouraged us to go in, in the evening.
Pros: Authentic , Lots of vegan options , Great service
Cons: Market toilet is 40p and only takes cash, Not a vegan stall

Affordable and friendly - Edit
We have been for food twice now and both times have been so impressed! The food comes out quickly, the staff are friendly and a good portion of the menu is vegan.
