Amazing vegan food ans lovely place

Stayed here while visiting Bardiya National Park and gave the team quite short notice that we are vegan so we weren't expecting much in terms of meals. However, the food was different every meal and really tasty! We loved the momos, thukba, daal and curries, soups, salads, french fries, fried rice... everything! All the veggies were organic and straight from their garden. They took our veganism very seriously which doesn't always happen. Staff were all amazing too.

As well as providing some tasty food, the lodge provides incredible tours of the park and all the team are really passionate about and deeply respectful of the wildlife and ecosystems within. We saw a tiger, rhino, wild boar, jackals, marten, mongoose, crocodile, and lots of deer and monkeys.

As a bonus, I don't think the lodge offers or encourages exploitative elephant rides.

Pros: Tasty tours, Knowledgeable staff, Great jungle tours

Cons: Theres no menu so food is usually a (good) urprise, Serves meat
