Mango Tree has moved due to a fire at their old location. They are now at a place called Hampi Inn and they are called Hampi Inn Garden Restaurant. It is the same restaurant and menu.
The food is still good and plenty of vegan options.
I came here for dinner three times I ate the south india thali each time. Every time it was different and delicious. I was also given fruit and vegetables instead of the curd and desert, which was nice.
Wow, Mango tree served me the best South Indian Thali I had in a while. With 180 rupees not the cheapest, but amazing prize for the quality and the portion. Staff are super motivated and happy to cater for vegans. Go there, have some Thali
I loved their Indian pancakes and hummus. Wish there was more vegan options but it was a small town and this place was clean, friendly and they understood vegan and had no problem helping me through the menu so I was grateful to have found them!
Came here because of this app but when discussing the menu with the water the only vegan Indian items were dal & thali. Apparently all the sauces of the Indian food are already made up so they were not able to alter dishes for us. Did have falafel, parantha etc and some other things on their menu but otherwise not many options. We left to find somewhere else.
A nice restaurant with friendly service. The food it prepared in sight and the prices are good. We explained what we (vegans) don't eat and three staff were more than happy to help select meals for me and my partner.
Came for brunch & to escape from the heat. Great service, they know what vegan is & as soon as we asked for no eggs or butter with the Spanish Breakfast the guy asked if we were vegan. Because we were he said he would fill our plates with extra fruit, really kind. Comfy seating, WiFi & the necessary fans to cool down.
Pretty much the only place in Hampi you can get good vegan food! One staff member in particular went over and above to make sure we had good vegan food by making heaps of recommendations and making sure dairy products were replaced! Good atmosphere, comfy couches, places to charge your phone and decent WiFi - overall really good!
Had a great vegetarian thali, spicy as I love it.
Due to the fact that Hampi is a spiritual place all Restaurants serve only vegetarian food and no alcohol.
Great place, nice service
At the heart of Hampi Bazaar, Mango Tree is a very nice place to eat. Very popular with tourists, it is not uncommon to have to sit on a table already partly occupied, what encourages discussion! Tables near the ground allow you to eat on cushions. The food is good and inexpensive. There are numerous vegan choices even if it's better to always specify without milk products and without eggs. The food is Indian but also international: you can find hummus and falafel for example. Try fresh juices!
