Visited this eatery for the first time! The atmosphere was great and it was definitely impressive to come across a hotel that had a fully vegetarian restaurant.
Read moreWe ordered the signature nasi kerabu, mala noodles and the spicy sour noodles! The food we ordered was sadly a little underwhelming for the price. Dont get me wrong, the food wasn't bad, but I've tasted much more flavourful vegetarian dishes!
The mala noodles lacked the 'mala kick' that you would hope for and the soup broth lacked flavour.
I personally felt that the restaurant kind of skimped on the ingredients (not too sure if they were going for a 'less is more' approach)- but you would hope for more with the price paid.
Side note: I would personally recommend Jujube or Vege Gen for noodle options - WAY more value for money AND generous!
The nasi kerabu was the real winner out of the 3 dishes we ordered, however the sambal was lacking it's true authentic flavour. Hopefully they will be able to make a chili that is more authentic to pair with the dish!
Overall, I do like the concept and would return to try out their burgers!

Tasty Vegan Options - Edit
Quite a few vegan options, but remember to emphasize no dairy. The shop is egg-less menu wide, but they have dairy everywhere. It's a QR ordering system so just put a note, "no mayo (yes they use non-vegan mayo although "egg-less"), no honey, no cheese, etc". Most are foreign workers or quite senior non English speaking staffs, so don't expect them to be vegan literate. Besides that, their food tastes good 😊 The price is reasonable.
