Will not be coming back. - Edit
Food was not very good and was greasy.
Read moreCooked from frozen also. The drinks were room temperature, the fridge was not even turned on. I had to get ice from the bar close by to cool my drink. I had heard good things but the price and quality were lower than I expected.
Pros: Around other restaurants and bars
Cons: Cooked from frozen, Greasy foods, Tastes a bit bland

Maneatingplant - Edit
Went to man eating plant as it had 4.5 stars on happy cow. What a disappointment. Food was greasy and WAY TOO SALTY. Prices were extremely high and quantity of food was extremely small. This place is a rip off. I did not give two stars but can’t change it as happy cow adds a star since it is totally vegan . We had the garlic noodles. Most of our $36 dinner went into the dumpster. Don’t waste your time or money on this place.

Enjoyed Our Dinner - Edit
We had garlic noodles - very good, shroom steamies which I liked and musubi which my partner liked more than I did. Very good for a mall food court!
Read moreA note about the food court: Very pleasant, even has a couple of bars and a wine cart. All orders are done via computerized central system.

Meh - oily food but at least, all vegan - Edit
This is not for those trying to avoid oil.
Read moreThe bao was ok but there is very little fresh veg or anything on it and it certainly would have benefited from it.

All vegan option at Topanga Social - Edit
The only fully vegan spot at the newly opened (and fun) Topanga Social. I had the fried mushroom bao buns and they were so good! Spicy and full of flavor. About $16 for two. The noodles also look great and I look forward to coming back and trying them. Loved the overall atmosphere of the Topanga Social “food court.” Worth checking out!

Great addition to the Topanga mall - Edit
What a treat to have Man Eating Plant as a vegan option to the new Topanga Social food court. This food court is brand new and is at a separate location (next to AMC theatre) to the already existing food court on the other side of the mall.
Read moreThe ordering setup is simplified with a digital kiosk. The menu at this location is slimmed down a bit but hopefully they consider more items in the future.
I ordered the fried mushroom bao and the garlic noodles. I really enjoyed mushroom baos! Very tasty and satisfying and the garlic noodles were a fun dish however just a bit oily for my liking. I wish they added tofu or some veggies as an option to make the noodle dish more filling.

Pros: Vegan
Cons: Parking in front of location is tricky., Plan b is to park in regular mall parking 🅿️ , No cash, only accepts cards
