Don't bother with the all you can eat - Edit
We went here one time and LOVED the pizza, and the deserts were rad too. Server said to come back for "all you can eat" on Tuesday nights. Made it sound SO good - I mean, she REALLY sold it. So, we rode our bikes down one Tuesday evening. We were super excited for the chance to try all their pizzas and desert pizza. Unfortunately, we were bitterly disappointed. The pizzas were few and far between, and when they came, they were not topped anywhere near as generously as when ordered from the menu. You have no control over the type - just whatever comes out. Servers walk around with pizzas on plates and serve you one TINY sliver of pizza per round. I can understand sharing and moderation - but please don't call this "all you can eat"! On this particular night, there seemed to be friends of the owner/ employees sat outside where we were, but nearer the door. What this meant for us: servers stepped down the stairs from restaurant, and either served their friends, or each person at a table of 5 sat just beside them, and then low and behold - we missed out. Every. Single. Time. The only times we got pizza was for 1 round before those 2 tables arrived, and then if any of those guests declined a slice the servers MAY come to us (but mostly to the other tables). We missed 6 entire rounds IN A ROW without getting one slice! The salad was scant: just a stack of leaves, some dressing - and if we were lucky when the server grabbed a tong-full (is that even a word?!) we might have got half a cherry tomato. And the fries - well, as one reviewer said, they're wedges, and modest ones at that. We got served about 5-6 single skinny little "fries" each. No more! We waited and waited for more pizza to fill us (it's $25 a head) and when we were nearing 2 hours and had endured several embarrassing encounters having to ask the servers for more, we decided to give up and just try the desert pizza. One slice. Nothing to write home about. Thanks - we paid the bill and we'll never be back. Shame, cos we desperately wanted to support this local vegan establishment. If you have to go, just order off the menu; if you brave "all you can eat", don't go hungry!
Pros: Casual
Cons: Misappropriation of the term ALL YOU CAN EAT, Inconsistent quality and service

good food but atmosphere/service mediocre - Edit
Went to this place for dinner, was very impressed by the menu, a lot of vegan mains on offer. I liked the cashew cheese on the pizzas, added some flavour/texture without being an overpowering replacement. Unfortunately the acoustics were not appropriate for live music so we couldn't have a conversation (we then got charged for the music!) and the staff weren't great as they forgot one order so it was slow.

Good - Edit
An ok place to take non-vegan friends. The food is pretty basic vegan stuff, all the staples, and they're done well for the most part, but most of it I do at home. Nice kombucha!
Pros: nice fresh food, kombucha on tap
Cons: nothing special, terrible parking, expensive

Mandala does a mean breakfast!! Had the Vegan benny - mushrooms, spinach, asparagus, avocado on sourdough with hollandaise sauce, coconut 'bacon' and dill. Very rich. The waffles also looked great. Open from 7:30am on weekends now I believe.
Pros: Vegan, chilled atmosphere

Dips platter, pizza and lemongrass Kombucha - Edit
I always order this when I go- so amazing. If you go here and don't get the pizza, you're not really getting the full experience. I haven't really tried much of their other foods, I had the tempeh burger the other day which was really nice but as any burger, pretty messy- so don't go in white like I did.
It's hard to try new things because I love my order so much! Each time I go I try and get one new thing.
Pros: Amazing pizza, Great drinks, Awesome atmosphere
Cons: Can be extremely busy so book ahead
