Old school veg forward place! The menu so strongly gives off vegan vibes that I almost accidentally ordered a normal grilled cheese without specifying, so be careful!
Read moreI ordered fabulous little grilled cheese and tofu sandwich. This place has a lot of things absolutely down. The tabouli side needs a bit of salt and lemon! Fantastic hot sauce though.

Super cute and fantastic with allergies! - Edit
The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about allergies and very helpful. They mentioned they have a completely separate area of the kitchen for accommodating allergies, and I was impressed! I had the burrito, and it was quite good. The manatee decor was fun and cute as well! Definitely would come back the next time I'm in St. Augustine!

Sweet little place serving breakfast and lunch. Primarily vegetarian but vegan and gluten free friendly with many options. I had the tofu scramble, home fries, and toast and my husband had the breakfast burrito with tofu and home fries.

The Manatee is where anyone local says to go when you ask for the best places for vegan in St. Augustine, so we were really looking forward to trying them out. After we left, both my companion and I shared that we didn’t really have a great experience. The food was okay but not great. The atmosphere and staff were not friendly. The vibes all around were kind of uncomfortable. We both agreed that we’ve been to several other places in St. Augustine to which we would rather return, and are not interested in going back to the Manatee.

This was a wonderful find during my stay in St Augustine. I had the vegan reuban with their home fries & a slice of chocolate pie. Delicious! The place is small with limited seating, but service was quick. Very reasonably priced, too. Would eat there often, if I lived in the area.

So many vegan options. I had the tofu Rueben w/ side salad and nutritional yeast dressing. It was phenomenal. My mother had the noodle soup bowl but she left out the avocado which imo was a mistake. Her soup was good but not great.

Their French toast was really good. It was cool to have such a variety of different things to eat. From udon noodles, to pizza, to burgers and burritos. I’d say 80% of their options could be made vegan. Would go back.

Excellent! We’ve been here many times, but I’ve never before written a review for them. My bad. I had the vegan Reuben and my husband had the breakfast burrito. Both were outstanding and the portions are filling. Always a great meal! Highly recommend!

I love this place, have been going here for 10 years! I always get the tofu breakfast burrito with vegan cheese. The best way to describe it is just a warm combination of a ton of veggies. It’s so flavorful and filling! Highly recommend!

cute, kitschy little place out of the way of the hustle and bustle of downtown st aug. my mom and i loved the pancakes & french toast and their tofu scramble is so Good!! (actually includes seasoning and veggies unlike how a lot of other places prepare it lol) We will definitely be coming back!!!

The menu is packed with vegan and vegetarian options vastly outnumber the few chicken dishes they have. The French toast was the best vegan French toast I have ever had. The sandwiches and wraps are to die for! I could eat here everyday! Wish I lived closer!!!

We tried so many vegan options on the menu and they were all really top notch; the pancakes were so fluffy and delicious, the waffles with bananas and walnuts were perfect, and the tofu scramble was loaded with vegetables, one of the best ones I've had. Really loved it here!

We had the breakfast burrito with scrambled tofu and hash browns, the veggie pizza and the bagel with hummus. The breakfast burrito was the bomb, best one I ever had. The vegan pizza was very tasty, only the crust was a little disappointing. The bagel was a hit as well.

Tofu Scramble with Home Fries - Edit
Delicious! I always forget to take photos because I’m starving and just want to chow down. I got the tofu scramble which is totally different than how I make it. They mix it with a ton of veggies, it’s delicious. The home fries are amazing and cooked to perfection. I also got a side salad with nutritional yeast dressing and it was fresh!
