Not many vegan options

They advertise as being a health restaurant, and maybe they were once, but now there is not much vegan or vegetarian left on the menu and almost all vegetarian options have cheese.

Even the minestrone soup, listed as veggies soup, is made with chicken broth.

We ate the Indonesian gado gado which was missing the peanut sauce (they brought cold one later) and was tasting so so.

Cons: not many vegan options, slow service

Many choices and big servings

We had the Indonesian dish and the stir fry with tempeh. Both were good. Nice option for vegans to be able to enjoy the ocean view while dining.

Pros: Many choices, Big servings , On the beach

Freshly cooked food and sufficient veggie options

Right on the beachfront in Ziccatela with a good range of veggie options. We had the gado gado and the stir fry. Both were very tasty and the gado gado had a nice mix of protein foods on the plate.
The price was about average for the resort and the portion was filling (we had no room for dessert).

Pros: Freshly cooked, flavoursome, fairly quick service.

Cons: more green vegetables needed.

Lengthy veggie menu

I enjoyed a few meals here. The veggie menu is pretty comprehensive and creative and if necessary can be veganised. The tofu is super tasty and also anyone who puts tofu in my hungover breakfast chilaquilles is winner!
The service can be rather sloppy during high season but like anywhere, a ton of people and not enough staff but it is worth going when it's quiet.
Oh yes..did I mention location? One of the best place for sunset cocktails I've been to in my life. They are also happy to make margaritas to taste along with some delicious veg*n food.
It's also a good place to go if you're with omnivore companions. Their food looked really good and we all gave a satisfied and collective sigh.

Pros: the view , veg options, can veganise

Cons: slow service when busy

Gem on Zicatela

Funky little place... according to the menu, it used to be 100% veg but started including seafood in 2003 (a choice which the English trans calls "wise" even though the Spanish doesn't!). A delicious assortment of veg specialties including some of the only tempeh you're going to find in Mexico. Great views, excellent juices, slightly spaced out staff – make sure to be very clear with orders – but who can blame them. Note that the restaurant is down a bit on Zicatela past most other hotels and establishments.

Pros: Delicious, Creative, Great setting

Cons: Spacey staff, Could use more vegan options, Not 100% veg

Delish!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Oaxaca, its near the beach, and all the juices are amazing! Even though it isnt completely vegetarian they have a lot of variety and the pizzas are very good.
