I have been here before, a few years ago, and you were allowed to choose the type of bread, burger and veggies and combine them all together. It’s no longer the case. Food is full of sauces (vegan mayo basically), even the salad, and I found it greasy. Quality also has decreased, for instance the vegan cheese was not melted but shredded and falls out of the burger. Too much sugar in the “vitaminic” drinks too.

Conociendo Puerto Montt con mi pareja descubrimos esta maravilla llamada Mammaterra. Ambos somos veganos y no hay opciones en esta ciudad, así que nos puso muy contentos acercarnos a conocer el lugar y no nos defraudó. ¡Las hamburguesas son deliciosas y enormes! Se puede elegir salsa, proteína y pan: muy variados sabores y colores naturales. La atención de los chicos del local es inmejorable, son muy atentos y amables. Todos los ingredientes que utilizan son frescos. ¡Un placer haber conocido este noble espacio tan consciente! No se lo pierdan.

They have soy, seitan, falafel, and quinoa patties. The beet bun had great texture and taste. The vegan sauces are SO good! Prices are extremely reasonable.

lots of vegan options! All the mayonnaise sauces are vegan. They’re friendly. If you want a good burger it’s the best place to be in the montt 👌 gluten free bread options too. And all the wrapping is paper made so no plastic. Impressed !

Best vegetarian lunch in Puerto Montt - Edit
I visited twice: once for a burger and once for a salad. There's plenty of choice: different types of bread, different types of protein, different sauces and lots of different fresh vegetables. Plus potato wedges, fruit juices and coffee. The portion sizes are generous, so you won't be left hungry. Most of the options are vegan, so that's not a challenge. And the staff are helpful, even if (like me) you don't speak much Spanish. So, it's a tasty, healthy, vegetarian oasis: the best place I've found in Puerto Montt.

Miracle in the Mall! - Edit
Who would expect to find a very good veg burger joint in a new upscale mall? Mammaterra is wonderful! With an early flight out of Puerto Montt the next morning, we spent our only hotel night in Chile at the Holiday Inn Express upstairs, and finding some outstanding burgers, with numerous creative choices made our day! Very nice people, and a concept that should spread worldwide!

The only really veggie spot in Puerto Montt - Edit
We had 3 different burgers with amazing beetroot buns, quite cheap for this part of Chile! Great friendly staff. Definitely recommend!
