Yummy welsh cakes

We just arrived after breakfast so we only bought each of their three vegan kinds of welsh cakes for our hike.all of them were very soft and delicious! On their menue they also offer some freshly ones to eat there but unfortunately they had non available for today( saturdays during lunchtime). So I am not sure if the vegan dough is really always available!?😡car park close by is free for 30minutes. ;-)

Pros: Typical welsh cakes in a vegan option, Nice interior(and outside)

Cons: Vegan dough for fresh pancakes wasn't available

Lovely place with loads of vegan options!

Stopped here after seeing it on Happy Cow and was so impressed with the number of vegan options on the menu. Almost everything can be made vegan upon request and they have alternative milk so you can enjoy a tea or coffee too.

I went for the vegan breakfast which was SO good. It even included vegan halloumi and 'cheese' and leek Welsh cakes.

Would definitely visit again next time I'm in Pembrokeshire.

Pros: Almost anything can be made vegan, Well labelled and clear menu, Lovely place and atmosphere

Decent vegan options

Lots of vegan options here. We had some chocolate orange Welsh cakes, sausage and mushroom breakfast bap, vegan cheese and leek Welsh cakes and coffees with oat / soya milk. All really good.

Excellent vegan welshcakes

Visited MamGu for welshcakes and tea today. Had a choice of 4 fresh vegan welshcakes - Traditional, Dark Chocolate & Orange, Lemon and... I think Cheese & Leek. Variety of plant-based milks for drinks too. Lovely staff. Plenty of dog-friendly indoor and outdoor seating. A great little place!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Several different vegan welshcakes , Lovely decor and staff, dog-friendly

Warm welcome, warm welshcakes

We stopped in after spotting the listing on happycow. We got there just before the kitchen closed at 3pm but received a warm welcome and weren’t rushed. Most of the menu has vegan options (including different breakfasts, sandwiches, soup) but I only had eyes for the welshcakes. The food came about 10 mins later - warm, yummy welshcakes and thick fluffy pancakes for my partner. Yum! 😋
We got some to take away too - they have a special store of cakes for special diets (vegan, gluten free) so there are always some available - though they may be different from the flavours on display. They are kept frozen, but the cafe people will happily warm them for you if you want to wait 10-15 mins.
The cafe also tries to have a low carbon footprint, with limited packaging and local products. It’s also dog friendly 🐶
