Don Taco Querido

Nice atmosphere and great service (5☆), just my Don Taco didn't have much flavour at all (max 2☆)! But it looks good?! :)

Pros: Big Menu, Lovely space, Good service

well, you can always tell us in the spot at the time of your visit and we could bring extra sauce or do something to fix the problem 😃, our staff speaks good English and are always willing to help. Wish you a great day my friend 💜.

Cute place

I loved my plov and the portion size was really big. You can get homemade kombucha (also to go), although mine was a bit to sour for my taste. The staff was so nice and I liked the spirit of the place!!! Not fully vegan.

Лугарсито Кубано

Единственное вег, место которое я решил посетить. У них вроде есть что то с яицами, а так практически все веган

Pros: Можно испанский попрактиковать, Практически всё веган

Cons: Caro, Вегетерианцы 😒

Great menu

Mainly mexican dishes, almost each has a vegan and vegetarian version. There are also dishes from other cuisines. We got to try uzbeg pilav, tamales and Singapore noodles. Food was great, service wonderful. It was definitely worth the visit.

Pros: Great menu and service

Tasty and large menu

The menu is quite large and there are plenty of options for vegans. The vegan soyrizo tacos were really delicious and big. The tortillas themselves are quite dense and filing, and I assume are made in-house. The flautas were pan-fried which is different to how I've normally had them, but it did make them healthier. I liked the space and the Mexican owner is lovely too.

Very yummy!

We loved our meal here -- especially the barbacoa (delicious flavors, good portion size, decently spicy), and the Michelado kombucha drink (so refreshing & perfectly spiced)! The fajitas were a bit less flavorful but still delicious. We arrived right at opening time, and found that the wait was a bit longer than expected, but definitely worth it!

Nice elements, but not great overall

I really wanted to love the food here, and some of it was quite nice, but it definitely wasn't amazing and I'm not sure I would go back. The filling of the 'chorizo' tacos was fantastic – packed with flavour and very moreish, if quite a bit too salty. But the tacos themselves were unfortunately quite awful, texture and taste wise. The drink was ok. Staff were lovely and the place has a great, calm atmosphere, with plenty of seating in little nooks. The menu desperately needed some sides like guacamole, vegan yoghurt/sour cream, and crunchy things like hard tacos or tortilla chips. I might try a few other options if I pass by again, as there's a lot to love about the place.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Nice ambiance, cosy seating

Cons: Tacos are terrible texture and flavour wise, Food was significantly over-salted, No guacamole, crunchy tacos, vegan sour cream, etc

A piece of Mexico in the centre of Tbilisi 🇲🇽

There is a huge choice of vegan options 🌱 This place is specialised on the Mexican food, so almost all the options in the menu are from Mexican cuisine.
The atmosphere there is cute and folk
But some food is need more salt and taste, for example Don Taco was tasteless as for me😔
But their homemade kombucha was really good👍🏻

Disappointing

Let me start with saying something nice because you should start feedback with a positive thing: the place is really cute and comfortable. The menu sounds great too, so there is so much potential but unfortunately it only goes downhill from there. We ordered smoothies but they were out of plant milk (in a veggie cafe?). The food took ages to come, finally my food came, I waited for a while for my friend's food to come too, it didn't, when I eventually started eating my food was completely cold, not sure if it was because of the wait or if it was cold from the beginning. I had the vegan tamales, it was okayish but far from good, the plate looked a bit dirty on the edges, I felt a bit sick afterwards. By the time I had finished my food, my friend's food still hadn't arrived. In total we waited for over an hour and the food was not great at all. In the end they almost kicked us out because they close at 10pm but we weren't even done eating because they took so long. It felt like their very first day, super unorganised, the waitress had to follow up with customers because she wasn't sure what they'd ordered, everything was so slow and then the food wasn't even good. Very disappointing

Best Mexican Vegetarian I've ever had.

We shared 4 of the Mexican vegetarian dishes between us. They were all delicious.
So was the house red wine.
The venue is small an cozy with a nice ethical ethos.
I will definitely be going again before I leave Tbilisi. One of the best Mexican dinners I've ever had. 😍

Cosy and friendly

A warm and welcoming place in Old Town Tbilisi. I'm sure it will be even cosier when the weather cools down. The Pad Thai was tasty, as was the glint wine.

Pros: A good range of vegan options

Hair in food

Didn't know you can't give just one star when the place is fully vegetarian! That's why it got two 😋
The place looks cute but is grubby with dirty tables and cutlery. We were excited for the food which started out tasty (although they didn't have a bunch of stuff that was listed on the menu) until we found a black hair in one of the dishes. Dinner was over then! The waitress was apologetic about it and removed the hairy dish from our bill but we paid for the rest although unfinished.
Went somewhere else for our dinner part 2.

Pros: Place looks cute, Food was okay tasty until...

Cons: Hair in food. Expensive., The place was a bit dirty, Too cold if you sit near windows

Nice place, international foods

This place might have 5 start but not yet fully vegan, unfortunately.

We had Georgian plate which was very nice, my friend took Korean foods and was very happy too! Smoothies are like 1,5 L of happiness which is awesome, burrito is just so sad and small. Overall I'm very satisfied and like chilling upstairs (there is also a space for book exchange). I was there twice during my short stay in Tbilisi. If only fully vegan it's my fav place in Tbilisi then!

Loved it

I had a very nice experience in Mama Terra. I ordered kombucha mohito mocktail- what a freekin cool idea and tasty above all!
I loved also the vegan tacos and another dish I ate there. The weakest point was the chia seed pudding, but at least it was sugarfree.

Tasty Chickpea Omelette!

I had the chickpea omelette, which was very tasty. My partner had the flautas, which she found to be under-seasoned.

I’ve included pictures of the menu and restaurant from June 2021.

food is so bad, as well as the vibe

we came here two times with my friends and everything was SO BAD ! as well the vibe in the cafe is not pleasant - ugly art on the walls, dirty floors, dirty bathroom, slow service.. 1 out of 10 for me.

Pros: location

Cons: ugly interiour, awful food, weird vibe

Lovely little cafe

This is the second time I’ve come here and while they have moved a little further uphill it’s not that steep a climb and the place is worth a visit. It’s a funky little place with a calming atmosphere and friendly service. The Georgian platter is extremely tasty (though probably not enough for two people) and they have a good selection of homemade kombuchas on offer (you can see the bottles with the giant scobies on a bench in the back). The prices are moderate and they offer 10% off if you bring your own containers.
I’ll definitely be back.

Best Kombucha EVER

If you do anything in Tbilisi it must be to try their Michelada (lime, chili, salt) kombucha. Food and service is mediocre (been there twice - food was ok, but lacking flavour), but that kombucha!!! We order it everytime!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, The kombucha!!! , Prices are very reasonable

Cons: We have to ask to order each visit, Service is somewhat slow despite few patrons

Absolutely fantastic

The menu offers a wide variety of mainly vegan or at least vegetarian, super delicious, options. Most of the meals are gluten free and all the amazing smoothies are raw. The portion size was big for the affordable price. Really friendly service, serving super amazingly delicious food. Dishes are influenced from all around the world. Has lots of Kamboucha and other beverage specialities. WiFi works well, you can pay by credit card and sit up- or downstairs. Wonderful experience, highly recommended!

Pros: Lots of vegan, gluten free and raw options, Great value and big portion size, Attentive and friendly professional service

Cons: But bright light in the evening

Nothing short of terrible

I initially left this place a poor review on google and the owner got quite passive aggressive. Hilarious.

Now motivated to make sure that negative review (very valid) is seen on this platform too. Very surprised there are good reviews of this place. Seems cozy enough but the food was nothing short of tasteless. Avoid the korean bibimbap at all costs as it really misses the mark. A hummus starter with sliced carrot to start my morning in an old age facility and spiced Georgian crackers which forgot the memo "spiced". I also find it laughable they asked me about the service. I'll revert back when there is some. Focus your attention on your food and service instead of halloween face paintings (oh yes they had a halloween event on) in your kitchen causing it to go so slow. Finally mains after appetisers? No thank you I have better taste than that nonsense. Go back to your google review and really take stock of where you tell me karma is going to come get me. I'll gladly wait for that bus. Meanwhile chop chop those vegetables aren't going to cook themselves.

Pros: Vegetarian, Location

Cons: Food, Service, Staff Attitude
