The food was quiet good, but a bit too expensive. All the pastries in the counter were vegan, some of them gluten free. The coffee was not exactly my taste; too sour for me.

My favourite cafe and vegan bakery in Palma - Edit
You must not miss this place if you're visiting Palma! I came here every morning during my six days in the city, and if I lived here I would definitely be a regular. Mama Carmen's is a fully vegetarian cafe and bakery, with 100% vegan baked goods. I loved their croissant (the most flaky and buttery croissant I've ever had, vegan or not), carrot cake, and hazelnut cream pancakes. Their coffee is excellent as well; the cappuccinos are smooth and artfully presented. They offer oat and pea milk as plant-based milk options, although I believe there's a 0,60 euro surcharge. Service is friendly and fast. The vibe is artsy and eclectic, and there's an outdoor dining area in the quiet square across the street, too.

We had tried to go to the fully vegan place (mama Carmen’s bakery) around the corner but it was closed and they had a sign directing us to this one. Very small menu with very limited vegan options. Presentation was beautiful and the serving sizes were decent. Just wish we could have eaten at the other one!

We came here as the all vegan mama carmen’s (just round the corner) was closed for the day - not sure why, but the manager there was sending everyone to the veggie mama carmen’s instead. Staff were friendly and coffee was lovely but was just a tiny bit disappointed in the menu. The smoothie bowl was huge and delicious, a great portion which is good as it was expensive. The avocado on toast was fine, served on a big slab of bread. It was a nice breakfast just not totally mind blowing - the pancakes at the vegan mama carmen’s look amazing so I hope it’s open another time during our trip to palma!

Best place for breakfast in Palma - Edit
Loved croissants - tried all plain, chocolate and with seeds. Even packed for the flight. Had the toast with hummus and avocado which was fantastic. Coffee was outstanding - try Flat white. Milk used by then is all 100 percent natural which enhanced the experience to know that the quality of ingredients are very good here. Will come back again when in Palma again.

I was hoping this place would be a bit more special than it turned out to be due to the rave reviews on HappyCow. The portion sizes are not very good value for money. I really enjoyed the T4 toasty but I was still hungry afterwards. It's just one slice of bread so not really a toasty. My mum is ceoliac and had to risk eating something with gf bread but all of their gf food is "not suitable for ceoliacs". Not sure if this means if you have a severe allergy don't eat it due to cross contamination. She is ceoliac but not a severe allergy and felt OK the next day. She said hers was a bit tasteless (T3). It is a lot smaller than I thought it would be with only outside seating and unfortunately it started to rain. If you really want to try it just be prepared to find somewhere quite small and expensive. There is another location not far from this one it is fully vegan but has similar choice from what I saw.

Read moreI come here very often if I want to sit on a cozy terrace outside but it's also beautifully decorated inside. Just like at the other Mama Carmen's branch, all their plates are nutritious pieces of art. And not only their food but also their coffee is really good.

i got the pumpkin spice latte but didn’t have special flavour, still tasted good tho.
also got the cinnamon roll to go but it wasn’t really the best, too much dough and too little cinnamon haha.
