A good option for eating with non-veg company, but not many options&expensive - Edit
I have visited this place during a family lunch with my non-veg family. I was happy to find a restaurant in the area that has labelled vegan options on the menu, but I found it a little disappointing that there are only two vegan options to choose from: one starter and one main course (another starter is available occasionally, during weekdays, on a separate menu). Both of these are veganised versions of traditional Hungarian dishes/food.
Read moreThe vegan 'körözött' (traditional Hungarian cottage cheese spread - made from millet instead of cottage cheese) tasted good, and it closely resembled the taste I remember from my pre-vegan days, however, I found the portion rather small, especially for the price, which was pretty hefty - not only for this course, but everything else was quite expensive! I live in the capital, and the prices seen here would be high even there - though some of this likely has to do with the posh location (right by the lake).
The restaurant was elegant and clean, and the staff was friendly, quick and helpful to answer questions.
There is an ice cream booth right at the entrance, with some vegan flavours (fruit), but we did not try these.
Pros: traditional dishes veganised, nice location, clean, helpful staff
Cons: expensive, not many vegan options to choose from

Nice restaurant at the lakeside with a few vegan options - Edit
They ran out of the vegan shepherd pie when we were there, so I ate the starters (eggplant cream and zakuska(bean spread), served with bread and vegetables, and a vegan dessert (coconut tapioca pudding with mango). I recommend both.
Read moreThe restaurant also has an ice-cream stand in summer, with various vegan flavours (for instance, lemon, mango, strawberry, blood orange, coconut), some of which are sugarfree.

Nice place to eat with omnivores - Edit
I went there with my omni parents. I wasn't too hungry, so I only ate the vegan starter: 3 types of spreads (lentil spread, hummus, aubergine spread) with bread. They gave me two hummuses instead of one hummus and one aubergine. After raising it to them, they served one extra aubergine spread and apologised. All tasted lovely.
