Cozy fully vegan café - Edit
The food is delicious, fresh, prepared with love and fully vegan. These guys know what they are doing! They offer sandwiches, bowls and cakes. The café is very cozy. They have a room downstairs where you can play board games. They also have a great selection of hot and cold beverages, which is unusual for the area. Also for non-vegans one of the best café choices in Bodø.

Quite cozy, chill interior, relaxing downtempo/electronica background music, good chai latte & pea latte, and crazy good chocolate cake!!
Read moreThe barista was still waking up it seems, as he forgot both the 'iced' part of my chai, and a spoon for my cake (with no other orders in the meantime). Also didn't seem like he had any fun being there. Afterwards, I wanted to order a toast with hummus and was told it would take at least 30 minutes (at this point there were 9 clients inside, no queue, and 2 baristas, like what??).
Recommended, but be clear about your order and don't expect a grab n go.

Amazing iced coffee!! The cake is creamie on the top and fluffy on the bottom. To sweet for my taste to be honest. Loved the music, sadly they couldn't tell me the interpret :(

Food is very good, but portions are a bit too small. Not cheap, but the place is cosy with excellent WiFi. Perfect place to wait for the ferry or speedboat. Definitely recommended

Maybe the only vegan cafe in the north of Norway - Edit
You rarely find a vegan Cafe or restaurant in Norway, so were happy to discover Maloca on our trip to Bodø. The atmosphere and decoration is stylish. The dishes are rather simple which is okay but unfortunately they were a bit of a disappointment. The food had way too much fat. Everything was buttered and the salad was full of oil for our taste. Our chai latte also had a strange taste we’ve never had before but maybe others like that. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our (simple) food and almost 45 minutes for the chai latte. Considering that the cafe did not have many guests and two people were working, that’s way too long. Also the tables were not cleaned for new guests.

Maloca is a super nice little coffee shop. Coffee was delicious. We also ordered the hummus plate and it end up being one of the best hummus we have had. Highly recommend.

This cafe was very cozy and I especially appreciated the free wifi. The food was delicious - very happy to find something vegan in Bodø and I hope they do well! The environment was very calming, except when things got heated during our game of backgammon - one of several board games available in the cafe.
