Exceptional - Edit
By far the best food we experienced on our recent trip to the capital. As a party of 3 we shared the shitake mushroom and tofu skewers, deep fried dumplings and crispy Chinese chive cake starters, which were absolutely delicious.
Read moreThe highlight of the night was most definitely the deep fried vegan fish topped with red curry sauce and the massaman curry, which were truly exceptional. We really enjoyed the sticky rice too.
To finish off, we all shared a golden mango ice cream, with sticky rice and coconut jelly cubes, which again was superb and a great end to the night.
Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. There was a 13% service charge added but when the food and service is this high quality, you don't mind as much.

Excellent Thai Vegan Restaurant - Edit
We had the Shitake Mushroom and Tofu Skewers for starters, and the Vegan Chicken Green Curry and the Holy Basil and Vegan Crispy Pork Stir Fry with Brown and Jasmine Rice for mains, and Mango Ice Cream with Sticky Rice for dessert. All were delicious. Excellent service too.

Incredible - Edit
The best vegan food I have eaten, the food was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. The flavours were out of this world. My other half is not vegan and he was blown away with how delicious everything was. The team there was so friendly and welcoming too 10/10

Thanks to Happy Cow, we found this newly opened restaurant literally on our doorstep in Earl's Court. What a great find! I think it's the first vegan Thai I've ever tried and it was fantastic! If you're a London-based vegan who enjoys authentic asian food, you have to visit. There's also a small courtyard out front for outdoor dining and what looks to be an additional outdoor space upstairs, which might not be quite ready yet.
Read moreEdit: second visit on 01/07/23. Same great food, but word has clearly spread! Still super authentic but loads busier! Great to see.

Highly recommend their fish with curry sauce - Edit
Second best vegan fish I ever had, 11/10. The sauce of the tofu skewers is the [censored], the skewers were more like 6/10. The drunken noodles were surprisingly good if you can handle lots of oil and spice, 8/10. The Tom KAH soup with mushrooms was also decent, 7/10.

Brilliant Thai food and such friendly staff. Have been 5 times with both vegan and omni friends all of whom loved it. The menu is quite big and I’ve yet to encounter a dish I didn’t like!

Best Vegan Restaurant in London. Thai food to live for! - Edit
I cannot express enough how blown away I am by this restaurant every time I go. It is my go-to for any special occasion. No item on the menu has left me disappointed and I always want to buy the whole menu whenever I’m deciding on my order. They’re not overly reliant on meat substitutes which is also a relief. The starters are so so good but the curries really hit the spot.

Okay, not great - Edit
I had really been looking forward to eating here, but I left feeling disappointed. My husband and I shared two dishes: the Kao Soi (Northern Yellow Curry Noodle with assorted tofu, shitake mushroom, pickled mustard and red onion) and the Satay Hed & Tao Hoo (Shitake mushroom and tofu skewers marinated with Chef Pam’s family recipe of Satay Sauce.). It was okay, nothing great. I have no desire to go back.

Not your typical Thai restaurant - Edit
What’s great about Mali Thai is that they offer many dishes that you don’t typically see in western Thai restaurants. What’s even better is it’s all vegan. Their khao soi is great, with lots of depth. The interior has a nice cozy feel to it. I’ve been here twice, and will come back to try their other dishes for sure!

Amazing flavours - Edit
Came here on our first evening, both i and a non vegan thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Staff were great. So much choice and the food was delicious. The Gaeng Keow Waan was unreal as was the dessert. The Kark Moo Tip Prink Khing was tasty however I wish it was more meaty than crispy. Overall an great experience and would definitely go back to try all the other menu options!
