limited vegan options - Edit
vegan burger no longer on the menu just FYI. had the poke bowl but was very plain. the juices are delicious and the atmosphere and service are impeccable.

Beautiful restaurant with 3 clearly marked vegan options; two salads and a poke bowl. I ordered the Malecon salad. It was a fair size and was ok but I wouldn’t order it again. There was very little barley or quinoa on it and the balsamic vinaigrette was quite literally the thickest and sweetest salad dressing I have ever had. I had a difficult time finishing it but I don’t do sweet things often. I imagine some people may enjoy it.

Enjoyed finding this spot in Mahahual. Their vegan options aren’t extensive (2 apps, 2 salads, a vegan burger, smoothies) but they are clearly marked.
Read moreI had the two apps (Romanita burrito and guacamole) for dinner and that was almost too much. Go for the Romanita. It was fresh and surprisingly good - veggies wrapped “burrito-style” in leaves of romaine lettuce with a tasty vegan sauce.
You can eat at the open air restaurant or tye beach right across the street. Lovely views everywhere.
Pros: Vegan items clearly marked, Nice spot with good views
