Good atmosphere, limited vegan options

Nice atmosphere, overall a good place to eat but they only had one vegan option. The fricassee was nice but very much a "plate full of veggies", though well prepared ones.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, Very tasty fennel

Cons: Bit pricy, Waitress did not really understand what vegan mean, The appetizer bread was very bitter

Few option but high quality

Only a few vegetarian options including two vegan ones. Grilled cactus at the time which was great. Service very super nice and quick to find a table for us despite we didn’t have a reservation. Great selection of wines. Experience closer to the higher tier restaurant. Despite the lack of many options, great experience overall. Menu seems to be changing and was different than the one on the website. Worth to give it a try. Prices around 10€ for mains.

Great find!

Lovely bistro tucked down a side street. The staff were great, loved the atmosphere, and the good was delicious. It’s a small menu for everyone so only one vegan starter and main option. No desert, they may have adapted something if I’d asked.

Pros: Great food, Great staff

Cons: Only one starter and main option

Great little bistro with vegan options

We struggled to find anywhere to eat in Gozo that offered good vegan options. With many places specialising in seafood or offering a pizza without cheese we were pleased to try this place which was recommended by our hotel reception. I understand the receptionist spoke with a local vegetarian friend who provided a list for us.

The bistro has a couple of dining rooms downstairs and we understand that wine tasting and taster menus are offered upstairs. The waiting staff appeared to care about the restaurant and it was clean and comfortable inside. We were presented with some home made bread which was delicious - a heavy rye and seed based bread served with some olive tapenade. I then had the falafal which were again homemade, followed by gluten free tomato based pasta.
There is vegan sorbet to follow if you have room!
We had a bottle of Maltese wine which we were pleased to find was also vegan.
Family of 4 - 3 starters, 4 mains, a couple of desserts, wine and water came to just over 100 Euros

Do try this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Pros: Tasty vegan options, Homemade food, Good ambience
