Tawouk Who’s Back

Discovering this chain, with its wholly surprising and utterly brilliant plant-based range, was a minor revelation. So when presented with the opportunity to repeat the experience with this outlet, I sprang at the chance.
Obviously, with this being a different branch, and with my preconceived notions of what the food should be, there was every chance this order could suffer due to inflated expectations. Joyfully, this notion was summarily dismissed no sooner than I had begun to tear into whatever I could lay my hands on.
As before, the Mexican salad and the teriyaki bowl were comparable in their excellence, and were my favourite dishes. This time around, it was the Latino-style offering that curried more favour with me, though only just. Honestly, picking between the two is really just splitting hairs, they both offer the bold flavours they promise in a unique way and are equally satisfying - you can’t go wrong.
The same fawning praise can also be lavished on the remainder of the items. The only slight negatives that I can fathom to muster are that the portion sizes of the regular and the rustic fries are on the meagre side, and the bread that should have come with the hummus was unfortunately omitted. Neither of these minor gripes are a reflection on the quality of the fare and they didn’t diminish my overall enjoyment in the slightest.
On this evidence, high levels of consistency are the norm for this business, and I now know that I can now confidently return any time safe in the knowledge that contentment awaits.
