Favorite Szechuan place in the neighborhood - Edit
We've moved away from Arlington, but this is one of my frequent spots that I miss the most. Our classic order: Dan Dan noodles without meat (recommend!) and an assortment of tofu and veggies in a dry pot - all pretty authentic! We always had the same waiter who was so friendly.

Great Chinese food - Edit
The vegan hot pot is really pricey and not amazing, but most other dishes are great. It is sort of between authentic Szechuan and American versions but delicious. Kung Pao tofu has the Szechuan peppercorns that make your mouth tingle, but it's sweeter than it is in China. Some dishes like shredded potatoes in vinegar are good but definitely different than anything you'd get in a normal American Chinese place. The string beans and other familiar vegan options are all good to great. This is our favorite Chinese place in Arlington, followed by Peter Chang.
