I had a vegan croissant that was super yummy and a bagel with avocado that was also great! The waiter was so nice!! (iff you're a coffee buff there's probably better places for coffee, but unbeatable for breakfast and service! Also very nice sitting outside! They also have a few very nice Slovenian design pieces for sale, like mugs and vases. Big recommendation!

A lovely pet friendly caffee in the center of Ljubljana with amazing interior and lovely owners! All cake selection is carefully thought through and they collaborate with lokal bakeries as well. Vegan Banana bread is freshly baked each morning. They also offer several types of vegan/raw cakes options, and they serve plant milk (oat, soy...). #Veganuary

Makramé is a relativly new coffee spot just a few minutes outside of Ljubljana's bussy city center. I visited the place last week and they had a variety of vegan cakes to try; I tried the pistachio and the Sacher and they were both very nice. The soy milk for my matcha latte was a nice surprise as well!

This is a cozy coffee spot in the Ljubljana city centre. Interior is beautiful and they also sell handmade coffe mugs! The staff was very friendly and helpful, so I ended up with a soy latte and a slice of delicious banana bread, full of walnuts and chocolate chips. I can only say I did not regret my decision of sitting down and grabing a coffee here😋

Makramé offers a variety for their vegan customers, from raw cakes to chocolate chip cookies, and of course alternative milk options for the coffee, soy, oat and rice! But my personal favourite was their vegan take on their house classic; pistachio croissant 😍! Creamy pistachio cream on top of a flaky croissant is a dream combo.

Definitely a larger variety of vegan options than used to in Ljubljana, so a great find for plant based individuals or just anyone looking for a cute spot for their cup of coffee or a sweet treat!
