Vegan & gluten free pizza - Edit
The vegan gluten free pizza was very good. The sauce was tasty and the crust was crunchy and thin. The service was exceptional and cheerful. Terry, one of the owners was serving me. I was there at about 4pm on a Tuesday and I was the only one there. There was free 30 minute metered parking right next to the restaurant on G street - which the owner directed me to over the phone. It's possible to add 30 minutes before the meter times out if you want to stay there longer.
Read moreThere is no more of the deli-like service they used to have when they started. Where you could look at ingredients and select them while standing and ordering. It is sit-down style now, and the owner says they are not going back to the way it was before the pandemic. For me it's easier to see and select the ingredients rather than reading them on the menu.
Yelp pictures showed what looked like black beans, chick peas, zucchini, broccoli, beets, etc, that I didn't see as offered for pizza toppings - so I forgot to ask for them. They offer beyond beef crumbles - which I didn't order.
Veggie pizza $16, Gluten free crust $4, vegan cheese $2.50, plus tax and tip.
Pros: The pizza and service was exceptionally good., Vegan & gluten free options!
Cons: No more deli-like self serve., Parking downtown is annoying.

Read moreWe are glad that you enjoyed the food and the service. As for the deli-like service, we have found that the many guest prefer the sit-down service and experience of being able to be waited on, rather than standing throughout the visit.
We also understand the challenge with parking downtown, and we are proud that we were able to have the city install a couple of free, short-term parking stalls next to our restaurant to help out our guests. Great vegan options ! - Edit
They have make your salads and pizzas with lots of vegan options. Vegan cheese was very creamy and the salads are big enough for two. I would highly recommend ! Great stop before a baseball game.
