Enjoyable dinner - Edit
I had a vegan version of the goulash with soy pieces and baked potatoes which was enjoyable but not outstanding. There were marked vegan dishes on the menu and some marked that they could be made vegan (like this one). Staff were friendly and helpful and I was seated nect to a fountain that created a nice ambience despite the lack of external windows downstairs.

Czech and other cuisines - Edit
Not all meals are vegan but the selection is still good and some dishes can be made vegan (Czech goulash). I can recommend the no-duck potato pancakes and goulash.

Yummy Czech dumplings - Edit
I had never had Czech dumplings before. I saw the opportunity and took it. The server was very kind and made sure I understood what Czech dumplings were before I ordered, and this was a good thing because I would have wondered if she brought out the wrong order! The dumplings were delicious and I'm considering going back to try another dish before I leave Prague. Wish I took a picture, but I was too hungry!

delicious vegan food in a lovely atmosphere - Edit
Maitrea offers a clearly marked vegan selection, which makes ordering very easy. The udon noodles and Asian wok were delicious and very good value for money in terms of both portion size and price. The restaurant's interior is also very attractive and creates a pleasant atmosphere. An all-round recommendable place for vegan food.

A sensual treat - Edit
This beautiful vegetarian restaurant is a Asian/Czech fusion with a handful of vegan options that are done with true care and attention for every detail. From the beautiful bohemian corner-less deco with pleated silk lampshades to being seated with staff in areas with multiple language skills and that's before you get to the food! The menu changes weekly to stay in its seasonalitly mission.
Read moreI highly recommend the no duck cabbage potato pancakes with vegetables dipping broth... every aspect cooked to perfection and one of the items on the menu on the bigger size for a big main.
Dubai kadayif cake- the first time im trying this since it was invented last year and delicious. The Fried kadayif noodles balanced the layered textures out with chocolate and fine pistachio and fresh berries to top 😋
Pros: Kind staff who recommended other eateries
Cons: Book early to avoid disappointment, Wish entire menu was vegan!

Solid choice, but nothing spectacular - Edit
This was a good but not great restaurants. That said, Prague isn’t known for good food or being vegan friendly so it’s definitely one of the better options out there. I had the tofu gras (very good) and the curry (a little bland but ok - what you expect from curries in non-thai restaurants).

Wonderful and Surprisingly Light - Edit
The food was excellent, the staff lovely and the space really fun. And, despite what you would think reading the menu, the food was quite light; We had the Tofuie Gras, "Duck" Pancakes and Udon Noodles, and we walked out feeling fine.

Absolutely amazing - Edit
The food was heavenly. The tofoie grass was amazing. Good sized portions! We had the Dubai tart for dessert and as you can see we forgot to take the picture before digging in. The staff were quick and very nice. They even went so far as to recommend us another restaurant!

Delicious flavours in Prague Old Town - Edit
Although I visited during the chef’s break time, there were plenty of vegan options clearly labelled (as vegan and as available during downtime).
Read moreI had hummus/guac/troiegras (tofu foie gras) starter and the goulash with dumplings for main, finished with Dubai chocolate tart. All amazing, particularly the troiegras and the texture of the “meat” in the goulash. Staff friendly and efficient, premises modern, cosy, clean and nicely decorated.
Highly recommend.
Pros: Plenty of vegan options, Lovely premises, Great staff
Cons: Kitchen semi-closed 16-17:30, but all explained

Lovely atmosphere, delicious food - Edit
The food felt fancier than the price tag! It was all presented really well and tasted great! I had the poke bowl which i finished despite being too full! The apricot lemonade was also amazing. It seemed busy on a Sunday evening so booking is a good idea

So we did both and truly enjoyed both experiences.
Food was tasty and nice variety.
Not sure I’m a big fan of veg goulash but nice to have the option of trying the local fare.
We even went back again since my wife craved her soup.

Great vegetarian food! - Edit
Such a delight to find an all vegetarian place with clearly marked Vegan, GF options. Tried the soy goulash and while I was nervous about how it looked, it was super tasty. The thai red curry was great as well. Friendly staff.
