Delicious and stylish

Never been a fan of "cornes de gazelles" before turning vegan but these ones are really delicious, with a lot of different flavours (rose and lemon are exquisite) and not too heavy

Vegan pastries!

While it isn't rare to find vegan pastries in Morocco, you do have to be careful for things like honey and amlou (a peanutbutter-like spread with honey in it). So when we stumbled across this all-vegan 'corne de gazelle' shop (c-d-g is a specific type of Moroccan pastry) I had to get all 12 flavors, hah... It's unfortunate they didn't veganize other types of Moroccan pastry (yet), but this was a nice find nevertheless. The person helping us was really friendly and explained all flavors, and asked us to post a review on Happycow, so voila :)

Pros: All-vegan pastries, Friendly staff

Cons: Only 1 type of pastry

Nice to try

I didn't think that this sweet was that special but it was still nice to try. We had the pistachio edition and I couldn't really discern the pistachio in it but it still tasted like a great marzipan. Fun to try!

Delicious colourful treats

I found them on here when i was searching for vegan Moroccan sweets. I paid 24 Euros for 27 pieces. A bit expensive? Maybe. I don’t know and I didn’t care, since I don’t know when I’ll go back to Marrakech. There are so many flavours to choose from. I took a few of each. Absolutely delicious.

Pros: The flavour , The selection , The girl who helped us

Nice sweets

A nice little surprise in the medina, very tasty and a great range of flavours. Our favourite was the coffee flavour. However, they feel expensive as they don’t take long to eat and aren’t substantial.

A bit overpriced

Taste ok but 1,5€ for each in Morocco is a bit too much. Also on their other location they sell non-vegan drinks (coffee etc)

Very nice if you like marzipan

Except for honey everything is vegan. Be careful though if you don't eat honey and ask.
Other than that: If you like marzipan the sweets are very nice and typically moroccan.

Pros: Quite huge range , Huge vegan range

Cons: Honey

Ricos pasteles

Típico pastel marroquí veganizado, diferentes sabores y que recuerda bastante en textura al mazapán. Recomendable. Y el café con leche de avena estaba bien.

Vegan pastries!

I highly recommend Vanilla. It was my favourite. Red fruit was also nice. But Pistachio tasted too much like marzipan for my taste. Would go there again for the vanilla pastry!!

Treats in Marrakesh!

We visited in March 2023. The guy working here was very friendly. The pastries themselves look really cute and are completely unlike anything else I’ve seen before! The pastries themselves I don’t think were anything amazing taste wise when we had them, but nevertheless enjoyable flavours and glad we visited and bought them.

Try them all

We ran into this spot randomly while walking around Marrakech although I think they either have moved or have two locations. The address of the spot we went to was:

125 Rue Riad Zitoun el Kdim, Marrakesh 40000, Morocco

We went twice and tried many different flavors. I liked black currant the best. Good coffee too. Ask if any have honey before you order, we were told one of them does contain honey.

Pros: Black currant , Lemon, Coffee

Naja

Komplett vegan, nur hat es uns leider nicht so gut geschmeckt. Service war nicht gerade freundlich und wirkte unmotiviert. Außerdem ziemlich teuer. Schade!

Pros: Vegan :)

Cons: Geschmack, Service, Preis
