Incredible and unique French Bakery - Edit
Amazing and delicious options!
Read moreA huge selection of high end vegan chocolates and truffles. Wonderful fresh bakery items, including their famed pain au chocolate that even has my non-vegan relatives wondering how they make it so great (without dairy)!
Recently, I've also discovered their pastries. They have wonderful breakfast (or are they dessert?) tarts and fruit pies.
They also serve excellent espresso and lattes. Their house-made hazlenut sauce is incredible and I always get that.
It should be noted that their éclair contains (free range) eggs. To my knowledge, that's their one and only product that is not vegan.
Pros: Wide range of classic French bakery/pastry options, High end and yummy chocolates/truffles, Family owned and operated
Cons: One (to my knowledge) non-vegan option: éclair, Hours of operation are limited

A lovely little shop with more than chocolate - Edit
I was so delighted when I got to try this place. They have limited opening hours but it’s worth it when you can make it there. They have a superb selection of fine vegan chocolates and well as authentic French croissants and pain au chocolat, and some other tasty goodies including cookies, and gluten free items. On Fridays and Saturdays they also have soup and sandwiches which include french onion soup and cute frog face shaped sandwiches. Everything is made in house. The only downside for me was that the potato leek pie I had only came in a gluten free option and I would love to try a pastry crust by them that wasn’t.

Must visit if in the Okanagan - Edit
So glad I saw this place while on my way to the farmer's market. If the place is not too busy, take some time to chat with David, the owner! I tried different chocolates and they were all delicious. The leek pie was also great. I'm coming back to try their onion soup and the coffee (the lady in front of me was raving about it)

Fabulous! - Edit
Maison mulnati is such a unique gem for Penticton. The chocolates are all delectable and the assortment is wide. They’ve even made some custom chocolates for my work - so special! And the pain au chocolate.. you’ll be thinking about it for weeks after. They are total perfection!

Oh Mon Dieu! - Edit
Such incredible chocolates. Handcrafted with obviously a lot of love. Made with Local fruit. I've never had a chocolate with such a 'refreshing' filling. I wish I didn't have to share :)
