A very tastefully decorated and inviting restaurant, this is evidently a popular spot as there were many other people looking to add a touch class to their Tuesday evening by dining here. And it’s easy to see why, though only if you’re not of a plant-based persuasion. Don’t get me wrong, what I did receive was really rather good, it’s just the fact that the available options are extremely limited (and expensive). The main element of my meal, the lion’s mane mushroom steak was excellent, especially the delightfully rich and creamy sauce that accompanied it, and so too were the Belgian fries and fresh sourdough bread. I can also heartily recommend the cherry colada, that was a real bonus treat to have alongside the food. The side salad was as side salads are and the best I can about dessert of a trio of sorbet was that it was available.
