Tasty soul food!💚

I ate Mafe (soy bites and peanut butter sauce with rice), which was very tasty and soulful! The restaurant has good vibes, and the food and friendly service definitely nourished the soul!💚

Probably the best vegan burger I’ve ever had

Bought the veggie burger for lunch and brought it outside to eat by the canal. It was the most delicious mix of flavors, such a juicy burger and everything was perfectly seasoned. Vegan mayo and cheese, and some other lovely sauces. Hands down the best vegan burger I’ve ever had - would give it five stars if I could ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The place is located inside the Tampere Market Hall, with limited seating. The staff at Maira were really warm and kind, and the vibe of the place was great.

Pros: Delicious burger, Lovely staff

All round great experience

Great opportunity to eat Senegalese food in the heart of Finland. Plenty of vegan options. Very friendly staff keen to talk about their offerings in Finnish, English, or French! Yummy.

Special place in the heart of Tampere

To us, the whole experience of African/African-American food in a tiny restaurant inside Tampere Market Hall was a nice one. We tried vegan attieke and maira, as well as hibiscus and pineapple-ginger juices which were recommended by the staff member, and liked all of those.

There are only few seats and they are along the Market Hall corridor, so the place can get crowded.

Pros: Friendly service, Type of food you don't get elsewhere near, Exciting self-made juices

Cons: Few seats
