A GEM

i love shopping local and stumbled upon this gem when walking around the nile waiting for my food, it’s a business or two down. they have some produce, mostly fresh greens! and a few local vegan businesses’ food here, i can only remember raul’s cochina and the falafel ave! i tried their spanish rice and horchata and jackfruit tamales, both soooo good. they jackfruit pastor bowls too! I can’t remember which business but they have pasta salads and cucumbers salads. some local kombuchas! honey too, if thats your thing. elderberry supplements in gummies, capsules, powder etc. amazing establishment. they sell Proof’s bread here too, i’ve had their olive bread it’s SO GOOD. also have nonvegan bread so check ingredients!

update: they now occasionally sell hot sauce and pepper’s veggie fried rice, “crab”mac and chz, and cauliflower wings!!!!! AND batisma sweets, vegan mini bundt cakes and confetti cupcakes! only tried the bundt cakes.. and wow! not overly sweet, all of the flavors i’ve tried are AMAZING!! ive also tried falafel ave’s hummus here that is really good!! the workers are my absolute favorite. they’re all so friendly 🥰 this place is awesome.
