Or get a la carte items like kebab skewers, falafel pita sandwich, mock meat burger, smoothies, shakes, and fresh juices. Open Mon-Fri 9:00am-9:00pm, Sat 10:00am-9:00pm.

My husband was marching in a parade which stopped near here! From the platters, hot empanadas, plantains, fresh juice I enjoyed, and smoothie my husband had — I’d say it was an excellent restaurant we “stumbled” upon!!

We stopped here on our way home on a road trip and we are so glad we did! Unfortunately they had very limited options at the time we went as the remainder of the buffet wasn’t ready yet so my wife and I each got a beef patty and they were Out of this world good. Fresh, flaky, just the right amount of heat, well flavored. Truly nothing bad to say. We hope to make it back soon to get the full experience!

Found this place while visiting the Palisades Mall one day. First, I’ll start off by the service. Unfortunately I didn’t take the man’s name, but the person at the front counter was super friendly and helpful. His demeanor was not forced at all and when finding out it was my first time visiting here, he went into detail with every dish he served. This alone will get Main Essentials more visits from me

The food they had was super fresh, delicious and the server who took care of us was very nice. I will definitely come back! I got the curry “chicken” with sweet potatoes and greens. I added a “beef” patty to my meal and it was amazing!! With my food I got a fresh juice, apples and beets! Yum!! Great overall experience. The restaurant is easy to find, parking is easy so ordering and carrying out is a breeze!

Just made a pit stop for lunch on our way through New York. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Excellent seitan, veggies, plantains, and rice combo plates. They also have a great juice bar with all kinds of combinations. I tried a carrot ginger juice that was delicious. Highly recommend!

Went during lunch during the week and got the lunch special which includes 1 “meat” and 2 sides and a freshly squeezed juice (or an additional side) for only ten dollars!The “beef” and “chicken” were both extremely flavorful. Also got a vegan stuffed pastry (pictured) that was awesome! Great friendly service as well. Would definitely return!
