Highly don't recommend - Edit

The service and food gets worse every time we go. A full entree was missing from our bag last time and we had to drive back and wait for them to make it while the front staff was rude and dismissive and made us feel like an inconvenience. Last night we decided to give them another shot and I was given chicken in my vegetarian entree despite telling them multiple times NO meat, just tofu. We also ordered chicken wings and it was completely raw in the center which is a big health risk. They told us our only option was to go back and have them remake it which at this point we never want to return again.

Vegans/ vegetarians don't go here - Edit

It used to be a favorite place until *after confirming several times that I didn't want meat in my food* I got a curry full of chicken! If you can't serve food without meat, declare that on your menu :/

No longer suitable for vegetarians - Edit

At their previous location, Mai Lee was happy to serve food to vegans but they have lost control and no longer are able to do so despite their listings on tripadvisor and their menu. Cook staff and wait staff have no understanding of vegan food. Food is fried simultaneously with meat in the deep fryer and then cooked together with the other vegetables - while being listed on the menu as vegan and specifically ordered as such. I have been a strict vegetarian for more than 30 years and I know when I accidentally get contaminated food. I brought it to the attention of the waitstaff who unapologetically offered to take $2 off my bill instead of offering to remake the dish. Even a few bites of that food later left me sweating out the tell tale scent of detoxing from meat exposure, I needed a shampoo and shower after my lunch date at Mai Lee. I think the recent move and expansion has led to a management vacuum. I recommend Taco del Mar for consistent vegan food in Wenatchee. We travel through Eastern Washington often and the vegan bowls and burritos there are a safe way to fuel up in a very non vegetarian friendly region.
