I often find myself going to the expensive modern cafes in the cities of Pakistan to find a variety of vegetarian or vegan foods. But this restaurant changes this! It is a very cheap local place, much like you will find in neighbouring India.
Not all of the menu is vegan - they sell paneer (cheese) dishes too.
Small no-frills all-vegetarian (all-vegan?) restaurant outside a Hindu temple. Items and their prices are listed on a board. 1-2 dishes makes a meal. Includes a dish with textured vegetable protein ("soya chunk") and there's a vendor just outside the restaurant selling the dehydrated version to cook with at some. It's clearly a local place that people who live in the enclosure by the temple eat at and come to watch TV.
