quality decreased greatly, not recommended! - Edit

ate there a couple of times in a period of 2009-2010. it was great back then, but went back around jan2011, and it was very disapointing.

the sauce now tasted like plain water, veggies and the flat bread were cold and tasteless.

service was horrible, had to wait almost 1 hour for the main course, and 45 mins for a simple tea.

will not recommend this to anyone. its not a decent meal in regard with its price.

Pros: good atmosphere

Cons: bad food, bad service

Holy shit, this is tasty!! - Edit

Hell yeah! All vegetarian, mostly vegan Indian restaurant! Plus they don't serve alocohol! I never knew vegan straight edge restaurants existed :)

I've heard a lot about this place. I had to see and taste for myself if all the rumors were true... So I took my dad out for diner for his birthday, since he really likes vegetarian food. My brother came along as well, a good group of hungry boys ready to eat tasty food!
We were absolutely speechless... All we could do during diner is make tasty noises, and repeat over and over again: "this is so good!".
We all had different starters. I had fried onions and I never had tasted anything like it. Yummy! Than we went to the main dish with fake chicken, salad, basmati rice and such... incredible.
The best part of it was that I could never make anything of the menu myself. Not the way it was made in the restaurant. This is highy recommended!!

*** BE CAREFUL! If you order spicy dishes, it will be SPICY! So you know, I've warned you!

Pros: so many vegan options..., no alcohol!, all vegetarian!

Very Vegan Friendly - Edit

I was very happy to find a completely vegetarian Indian restaurant. Every dish can be made vegan and the Biryani and curry is really good. Samosas are very tasty too. I went with my non-vegan family and they enjoyed the food as well. The menu will be expanding soon. Great food!

Pros: Every dish can be made Vegan, Friendly Staff

Pure Awesomeness :) - Edit

This place was recommened to me by a friend. So me and my husband drove one hour from Eindhoven to Nijmegen to eat here. We even hire a babysitter so we could go out. It was well worth the drive and extra costs. The food is delicious. I love that every item on the menu is vegetarian and it's all so yummy. I had the vegetarian kip - and it tastes in texture like meat. So if that bothers anyone, be sure and order tofu. But I really like the vegetarian chicken (kip). Also we had these deep fried onions for appetizers and my husband said it was the best onion he ever had. I also really like the atomsphere and the service was excellent. The owner even came out to talk to us and let us take pictures. He even told us where we could buy this most awesome meat substitute (veggie chicken) at the Hindu temple/cultural center next town over. I will totally be returning... check the website as they have discount offers for frequent customers for example - the owner offer to give us 15 3-course meals over the next year for 100 euros! how cool is that?!!! They even have take-out and well, what can I say more except overall - this experience eating there was pure awesomeness :)

Pros: excellent food, good portions/value, menu 100% vegetarian
