Good cheesecake - Edit
Shared two different raw cheesecakes which were very creamy, alongside an almond milk cappucino. We got take-out, but the atmosphere seemed pleasant and welcoming inthe cafe, and the staff were friendly. I hope to try some savory food next time.

Heavenly pancakes & friendly staff - Edit
Pancakes were so good I wanted to cry! Lovely fresh fruit and berries and incredibly tasty rhubarb jam/compote/thingy. Smoothie was also delicious, fresh ingredients. Staff was sweet and friendly and even on a busy saturday the wait wasn't too long.

It is a restaurant that seems quite trendy, which mainly offers Smoothie Bowls and Açaí Bowl... but also toasts such as scrambled tofu and avocado. It's very good, but the atmosphere is far from calm. Many customers, no reservation, order at the counter not practical. In short, the quality of the dishes is there, but the atmosphere is tiring.

We had the Burger Queen and Knivsöder for lunch. The burger sauces were really good, patty and bun were good as well. The Peanut sauce on the Knivsöder was great.

I had the 'Less hate more sweet potate' and 'Just fries' (sweet potato) and the taste was exceptional! The stew was a rich one with sweet potatoes, garam masala, coconut milk and veggies served with roast chicken peas, cilantro, cashew nuts, lime and coconut drizzle. 👌🏽

Breakfast in Bed
I had the "Breakfast in bed" this time. It was a beautiful meal, as you can see in my pictures, but it didn't taste that much. The avocado was delicious and the tiny cheese on top of the sandwich too. But the rest was pretty neutral to me, not that much/strong flavours. I mean it must have tasted well because I ate it all without problems, but there was no Hallelujah. Also almost no b*con at all.

I love mahalo- both this place and their other location on Söder! This one is a lot smaller though and seems more packed. Especially during weekend brunch hours the noise volume is just too much.. So do yourself a favour and go on weekdays instead.

Note, as it can get busy they request people not to use laptops at lunchtime. Clearly wasn't being enforced, though.

Hmmm. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. The açaí bowl was OK and lacked flavor. The açaí could have been colder but was very melted. The granola felt lazy and not something I’d call granola (but flakes of oats sounds more right). The baked oatmeal bowl was also OK. The best part was the peanut butter and jelly on top. Neither of us ate much of our meals because the bases of each were sadly disappointing. Most people were ordering the pancakes, so maybe that’s the ideal thing to get here.

Love that there are so many places that have a completely plantbased menu. Our food was very tasty, the price was adequate for what you got.

Read moreThere was outdoor seating for about 12 people and indoor seating for about 20. We got a table outdoors in the sun which was very nice. On the wall indoors it says "Vegan is the new black" in big letters.
I had Mahalo's Caesar Salad (139 SEK). It was tasty but I thought it had a bit too much salad.
Mahalo is a nice place if you want a healthy-ish vegan meal in a chill atmosphere.
