We had vegan tacos with rice, which were pretty good They made a mistake and gave us a salad with cheese but we're apologetic and quick to correct it. They had a cool vibe on the patio upstairs. They were out of vegan cheese so other options didn't make sense for us to order.

I don’t know what that was... but it most certainly was not Mexican food. I got chips and guac plus the vegan enchiladas — all bad. The chips were stale and unsalted. The guacamole was just avocado. The enchiladas were sweet and... just wrong. The rice was good. I ate enough to be full. After a long day of touring, I didn’t want to go to another restaurant.

Beyond meat now available - Edit
This restaurant now offers a Beyond Meat burrito. I didn’t try it, but I appreciated that the waitress knew which dishes were vegan, and which ones could easily be made vegan. The El Veg tacos were delicious.

Can modify several items to be vegan. The el veg tacos can be vegan and gluten free and are very tasty. You can also build your own nachos with all the vegan fixings. Good for kids (although vegan kids need to order off the adult menu).

Great vegan tacos 🌮 - Edit
We went to this restaurant because it was late and it was one of the only restaurants open late in Banff. Right away the host let us know of how to veganize some of the dishes and when we spoke with our server she was also on top of what was vegan and what wasn't. Our hopes weren't too high as both the refried beans rice weren't vegan. We ordered the veggie tacos without the lime creama and a side of black beans and guacamole. It was amazing and our favourite meal in Banff!
