Not as expected - Edit
We were the for lunch. The service was incredible slow and at the end they forgot to bring the ordered coffee (I even asked the second waiter for it). The interior is modern but is lacking a good style. It's all a bit artificial: the service, the interior. They pretend to be a high class restaurant but they aren't.
Read moreThe food was ok, the avacado salad was very salty, the pizza was lacking flavor. Some of the dessert was not available. The price is very high for what they offer. I think we won't return.
Pros: food is ok
Cons: expensive, service incredible slow and "dreamy"

Rarity: 100% vegan sit-down restaurant in the heart of Vác - Edit
This sit-down restaurant offers a wide range of vegan dishes. I had the Tom kha soup which was nice, but not very flavorful. I also tried the 'salmon' (from tofu) with green pea puree. It was also tasty.

Cons: The food could be a bit more flavorful

A személyzet kedves.

Bad quality for a celestial price - Edit
I bought a menu to take away. My car was already filled with the stomach-turning smell of onions fried in used frying oil. The soup was cca. 200mls, unflavoured, indeterminate-tasting cream soup, and the main course was pasta fried in some low-quality used frying oil and onions, with a few pieces of vegetables (carrots, peppers) and tofu. After a few bites, the pasta, which was literally soaked in oil with a characteristic aftertaste, went into the trash.

Cons: taste, smell, price

The only restaurant feel like vegan restaurant I know - Edit
We visit Magora regurarly and we can say that they have great food, but the quality could be different sometimes. Happy to have a vegan restaurant nearby.

Great food & deserts - Edit
Amazing food and great portions. As a desert, the “French creme” (Francia kremes) is a must!

Very elegant restaurant - Edit
Very nice, elegant restaurant in the heart of Vác. It’s the most stylish one I have seen in a long time, they even have dental floss in the bathroom. Priced on the higher end but it’s worth it, must visit for Vegans in Vác!

Yummy and healthy - Edit
I had the menu which was yummy from start to finish. The main dish was a lovely adaptation of « gratin dauphinois » and the tofu dessert had a tasty mixed seeds foundation. They seem to use good whole foods. Service was also nice. Lovely terrasse overlooking the ruins.

Good place to eat out - Edit
Beautiful interior and great outdoor seating area. Very friendly staff, good service. Nice food, but not amazing. Menu lacks of imagination. (Although the Italian pasta is really good!) No alcohol served. However, portion sizes are good and having a fully vegan restaurant in the town is an excellent and most welcomed initiative.

Great food but the location is incorrect - Edit
The portions are amazing and the taste as well! Very special to find this place in a town like this!
Read moreFirst I went to the place according to google maps and it was just a neighbourhood. There wasn't any restaurant at all..
I've found it though, it's on the main square of the town.

Hello, if you know the right location could you please update the map marker? It's hard for us to know without being there so if you can do it that would be so helpful. :)

Love the initiative in a small town - Edit
I love it that in such a small town they opened a vegan restaurant, a separate cafe AND a shop and that’s why I give it 4 stars. But I have to tell this is not really a place I liked. The interior, the atmosphere is absolutely not my taste and the salad I have - although the dressing was nice- was not fresh and not even local but a boring eisberg although in summer you would have get so many different fresh local greens from the market which is actually next door. The staff was not really nice and altogether if this place would have been in Budapest I’d given it max 3 stars.
Read moreHowever they also have a cafe and a shop in which you can buy vegan cheese and a lot of healthy yummy stuff. Also the location is nice on the main square and if you sit outside it’s really enjoyable and again amazing to have it in such a small town next to a steak house!
Pros: The menu sounds good, Outside eating
Cons: More fresh and local ingredients would be great, Not really my style

Perfect surprise in a little town - Edit
We didn't know there was a vegan restaurant in town when we arrived in Vác on our journey through Hungary. The waitress was very friendly and helpful translating and explaining the Hungarian menu to us. We had two different kinds of cake as well as vegan fried cheese and a veganized Hungarian dish. Everything was absolutely amazing. I'm very demanding when it comes to cake but this one blew my mind.
