Great breakfast spot! - Edit
Very cool spot to stop in and the staff picked up on our ordering quickly as coming from vegans and pointed out what was veg. vs vegan. Enough options and very tasty local sourced offerings.
Pros: Good options and a wonderfully veg sensitive staff
Cons: I wish the veggie sausage was vegan.

Best Vegan Breakfast Options!! - Edit
We make the 2 hour drive (each way) from Montreal about once per month just to have breakfast at Magnolia. My fave is the Tofu Sesame Garlic Scram and my husband gets something different each time but always with a side of potato pancakes that he loves. Really fresh, good service and quite quick. Only downside is that they don't have a restaurant in Montreal!!
Pros: Fresh, Awesome selection for vegans, great value
Cons: communal jam jars that people double dip

Fab scramble - Edit
Great place.very cozy. Coconutpeanut sauce scramble excellent change up. Has vegan margarine for toast. Other diners made up own tofu scrambles with chipotle black beans. Fab potatoes & toast choices. Reasonable cost for amount & quality of food. Excellent service.. Local jams, ketchup & hot sauce.
Pros: Great food, Many vegan choices, Cozy atmosphere
Cons: No parking

mars 13 Apr 2013 - Just went back there 4/13. Food was still good, albeit most of the menu is carnivore. The staff is extremely accommodating. The granola was very good and if you don't get the fruit you want on top, ask. They may have it in the back and will get it for you.
No parking, but there is metered parking about 200 feet away. Convenient to other places downtown.

Vegan Options with Sad Cows - Edit
The menu here is very well marked with vegan and gluten-free icons, but mostly consists of non-veg items. You can substitute tofu for the eggs in any of the scrambles or omelets, and there is a vegan french toast.
I put Magnolia in the category of compromise restaurants. They've got something for everyone, but are not particularly veg-friendly. They do, however, serve mostly locally produced products, which is a slight plus in my book.
Pros: hot sauce, atmosphere
Cons: spotty service, lots of meat

A Must Visit! - Edit
Cannot wait to return to Burlington to experience this delicious restaurant! The banana bread french toast is a true delight....almost dessert like! Plenty of vegan options too! The atmosphere is casual and quaint and the service is friendly. Tucked away between buildings but worth the effort of locating! Closes at 3:00 pm (no dinner)

Very Good - Edit
This place is great it is a green restaurant and has a really great atmosphere. If you are vegetarian it has a huge range of dining options and vegans are pretty well of as well. It is a great brunch spot and if you are vegan you can get any of the egg dishes with tofu instead.
Pros: green restaurant, vegan breakfast, lots of daily specials
Cons: small menu
