So-So Filipino

I ordered the Pancit Bihon, which is rice noodles mixed with carrots and cabbage, and topped with fried garlic. It was simple, but enjoyable. It's listed as a snack on the menu, but it's large enough to be a meal. My partner ordered Brussel Sprouts at Tokwa, which includes shiitake mushroom, tofu puree, and puffed grains. The server warned him it's fried in the same oil as the lumpia (meaty eggrolls). Though tasty, they're not enough to be a meal, so he also ordered the Gulay (vegetable dish of the day), which tonight included Chinese broccoli, arugula, and mushrooms. I didn't like it, but he did.

Pros: quick service, outdoor seating

Cons: vegan options not marked, loud, overpriced
