Pretty sad selection - Edit
The menu is not clear on the fact that almost everything here has fish sauce in it. And the veggie section (3 items) was incredibly bland. I felt bad giving 2 stars because this could be so good, and the place is nice. And the owner seemed nice.

BYOB and cash - Edit
One of the only places in town to BYOB/drinks! Small longstanding hole-in-the-wall place can get a bit noisy when busy. Also, able to make spicy food! I'm used to asking for whatever the top of a restaurant's scale is in the heat department, but Magic Kitchen actually delivers, proceed with caution -- they can make Thai hot. Cards are not accepted, so bring cash and support a small business.

A Little Treasure near Downtown Springfield - Edit
4.0 star rating

Eating out in Springfield is difficult for vegans, but this place offers vegan options, including fried tofu(the best I'd ever had anywhere because it was so tender) with peanut sauce. My granddaughter and I walked about a block to this place. We shared fresh spring rolls (minus the chicken noodle) to die for. My grand introduced me to delicious light, meatless wontons. She had the sweet and sour dinner while I had the vegetable dinner, which we enjoyed. My grand also had Thai sweet coffee. She was so impressed that she promised to tell her friends about the place that was so close to where she lives; I plan to return for the spring rolls, wontons and tender fried tofu. The restaurant is willing to veganize other dishes on the menu and will check to see that you are satisfied.
Pros: Within walking distance, Willing to veganize dishes, Great service
Cons: none
