Okay

The hamburger was okay. I liked the vegetable patty for once. All the vegans in the company ate all their food as opposed to the meat eaters.

Pros: Nice vegan patty

Vegan buger near the cave

The only place with vegan option next to the cave. The burger was okay, the vegan salad is not anymore on the menu and the cake was not available

Pros: Vegan option near the cave , Unsweeted lemonade

Cons: A bit expensive , Taste was only okay , Throw away package for burger

Decent for where it is

We visited the caves and found that this was really the only option for lunch as the other places at the caves had no vegan options. We had the vegan burger in a combo. Came with wedges and a very small soft drink. The dip for the wedges is bbq and far too smokey for me. But i was glad of the options.

Pros: Vegan options clearly marked

Cons: Lots of smokers in the outdoor area

Happy to found vegan food in the cave park

There are some vegan options. We had the vegan burger and the rice noodles. Both were delicious, but the size of the portions could be bigger. Also the dishes, cutlery and so on were all disposable.
Btw we would discourage everyone to go to the “Vivarium”. It was overcrowded with visitors and the poor animal’s, which are made to live in the dark, were illuminated almost all the time.

Convenient

I had the vegan burger and it was okay. The location, however, is very convenient before or after visiting the caves. I would recommend trying the vegetables noodles which looked promising.

Food's okay because there aren't many alternatives

We had rice noodles with vegetables, a burger, a coleslaw salad & a strawberry cake. It wasn't that great - there even was a small piece of meat in the noodles. Service was fast. The location is nice, there are lot of things to do around, and the restaurant also has a cave-inspired interior.

Pros: Fast service

Cons: Expensive

Good food for location

3 vegan options- 2 salads and a burger.
Was worried as previous review said no vegan options so spoke to staff. They have simplified their menu due to how busy they have been, but still ha e all of the vegan options if you ask for them. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Located right by the entrance to the caves, and the price reflects this, but nice to have the option!

Pros: Tasy burger patty

Cons: Expensive (but to be expected)

Good, definitely not great

Only vegan option in the area, so we went there. Service could definitely be better. You have to wait for the order and cleaning your table for a looong time. Vegan burger was so so (who still uses ketchup for a burger sauce?..) The patty is some frozen semi-finished product but the caramelised onion saved a bit. The price is excessive for what you get but it’s a touristic area so it’s presupposeable. Yes, and you’ll have everything on paper trays with wooden cutlery (I mean, still better than plastic but you eat in a restaurant so why not normal setting…) Overall, burger not that bad and service bad.

Tourist snack

Three stars due to the size of portion; pretty small portion for the price. No fries included! The service was polite, no long waiting times likely bc off-season.
Just next to the Postojnska jama/cave, makes for a perfect snack before or after the adventure.
the vegan menu seems to be standard & unchanged; there's a burger, greek and ceasar salad as well as a strawberry cheese cake.

Good enough food but service wasn't great

The food was fine, nothing outstanding, just a simple burger with a legume based patty.
It took quite a bit to get there and it was served in disposable plates which wasn't great for presentation as well as more importantly the environment

Nice burger after visiting the caves

While the burger was nothing special (we definitely had better vegan burgers in bled) it was great to have some vegan options including the burgers and vegan Caesars salad. The fries were served with mayo which was probably not vegan

Pros: Convenient location next to the cave

Conveniently located, right next to the Postojna caves

Unexpected often comes - right next to the caves a restaurant, which even offers four different vegan options. Vegan Burger, Greek Salad, Caeser Salad and No Cheese Cake. The latter was unfortunately sold out by early afternoon, but the burger was very tasty.

Child friendly, high chairs available.

Pros: Great location.
