Veg-tastic - Edit
Have recently re-opened after lockdown as entirely plant-based menu. Had a lovely Buddha bowl, sweet potato, ginger and coconut soup and a sandwich. The bread with the soup and the sandwich were doorstep thick white bread, I would have preferred something a little more healthy. No seating inside, so take away or eat at two small tables on the pavement, where we got rained on as no cover. Some nice tea flavours too.

Has gone fully vegan since opening after lockdown. So many options we were torn for choice. Went with the apple wood cheese and ham toasties, cauliflower pasta bake with garlic bread and the peanut butter and chocolate cake. All delicious!

Amazing little find - Edit
We stopped by Llanberis and I did a quick search and found Mafon had vegan options. We had a delicious lunch and there was plenty to choose from! multiple sandwich options and we had them with a soup. Got a massive and very rich mocha cake to take away too and the coffee was fab.

The breakfast menu looks insane, and we have recommended this place to a few people who have gone and also had a wonderful time.
The little town is really quaint and colourful and this gem of a cafe really adds to the picturesque nature!
Really want to return!

The best Vegan Breakfast one guy on Happy Cow ever had! - Edit
The Vegan breakfast was simply the best I've had in two years of veganism. It isn't full of mock meat but replaced with hearty veg and a delightful spiced scrambled tofu. Fresh bread and coffee top it off.

Delicious vegan breakfast - Edit
Really enjoyed the vegan breakfast - perfect amount of fuel to climb Mount Snowdon with. The staff were lovely and would definitely go back again if I was ever in the area 👍🏻

Cool hipster cafe! - Edit
Cool hipster cafe in the midst of an old fashioned climbers’ town! Happy staff and friendly atmosphere, serves vegan breakfast, a range of vegan sandwiches and drinks with soya or almond milk, eat in or take away. Their soya hot chocolate is to diiie for and you get 25p off if you bring your own reusable cup. Spiced tofu sandwich was slightly bland but a welcome substantial plant based meal for a rural day out.

Vegan options but not that impressed - Edit
Great to have some vegan options to choose from for lunch in this small cafe but the food itself was disappointing. I had the salad with vegan Feta. I’ve tried a number of different vegan cheeses and this was not one of the better ones. Also it was really warm in the cafe and there was no toilet. The staff was also not very friendly.

Nice feel. Nice food. Nice staff. Three quarters of the way to being vegetarian but sadly still serves meat. Refreshing, though, to see so many vegetarian and vegan options! And great to walk into a café for breakfast and not be hit by the smell of fried bacon and sausages. Went for breakfast before going up Snowdon, for which Mafon is ideal. Staff and customers were tolerant of my rowdy kids and their customising the menu to suit their whims!

Amazing! Vegan Food delicious! Manager very welcoming! - Edit
Visited Llanberis today not expecting to find a vegan meal anywhere but found this little place. Really lovely tasting vegan food. There is vegan scrambled ‘eggs’, burgers, soups, sandwiches amongst other bits. They have a breakfast menu and a lunch menu. We had the nut burgers at lunch. Delicious! All the cakes were vegan. They have coffee cafe and this amazing pistachio and coconut cake. And some others But we didn’t try them. It’s not expensive whatsoever and you get a lot for your money. Spoke to manager who is really lovely! I think it totally makes a place when the manager is so nice to talk to. Everyone who works there has a cool boho look and vibe to them which is really nice. They have a huge selection of cool specialty teas too that come out in a really cute teapot. They allow dogs to come in and chill with you which is nice. Wifi available. Would highly recommend. We loved it and would definitely come back. Would give it 5 stars but app won’t let me because it’s not 100% vegan.
